Noel Gallagher with his brother Liam made up the the pop band 'Oasis', who were a huge hit in the Nineties.
Incidently for those of you who havn't heard of them, they are talented musicians, but there private life has been less than ideal, as from many stories in the newspapers over the years.
The article did say that Noel would try to make the song more Bondian than previous efforts.
I mean the title song for QOS was complete ****!

Good news for two of CBS' new dramas: the network has ordered full seasons of both "Unforgettable" and "Person of Interest."

"Unforgettable" stars Poppy Montgomery as a New York cop with hyperthymesia, a rare condition that causes her to remember literally everything. The series is averaging 14 million viewers and a 4.2 rating among adults 25-54 each week, an improvement on Tuesday nights compared to CBS's ratings last year.

The J.J. Abrams- and Jonathan Nolan-produced "Person of Interest" features "Lost" star Michael Emerson as a genius billionaire inventor who hires a former CIA agent (Jim Caviezel) to help stop the crimes that he knows will happen thanks to a device he invented. "Person of Interest" has averaged nearly 14 million viewers and a 4.6 rating in the 25-54 demo in its Thursday night time slot.

If you didn't watch on Thursday, I'm afraid you did miss a Person of Interest! And, a REALLY good one at that! Just remember: "I'm not a bellhop!" and "I brought him tea" . You know those now classic PoI one liners that are totally out of the blue and crack you up like only Caviezel with a serious expression can do. You can easily watch it online though if you missed it? Or download it. So glad to see others here like it

Smoooooth. LOL I do not know who the hell in their right mind would say this show is not very good. It is REALLY good. And I'm not one to be easily satisfied, trust me. Caviezel is magnificent and Emerson is very good, too. I'm quite sure most of the people here would love it given the spy environment and the fact it's good action and good acting. Like I said this past Thursday's episode is the one to see... even if you haven't seen the previous ones.

Re: Noel Gallagher... very well know him and his brother, seen as over here in Europe there's news about them even when they don't sing. LOL. Perfect fit for Craig's Bond. Unclassy and unstylish. A match made in heaven.

No need to worry FBF.......Potter remains KING :!: "Richie Fay, Summit's domestic distribution president, surmised that “Breaking Dawn” may have opened to a slightly lower figure than “New Moon” because the “Twilight” audience is “aging up.”

“As we all know, as folks get older, the impulse to get out and be the first one to see the movie isn’t there,” Fay said. He said he still expects the film to ultimately gross around $700 million worldwide, about the sum the last two "Twilight" films ended up collecting globally.

"Breaking Dawn,” which stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, features a highly anticipated wedding and dramatic high-risk pregnancy. The Bill Condon-directed film -- which has received the worst critical reviews of any movie in the series -- cost Summit about $110 million to produce after tax rebates.

Those who saw the film this weekend -- an 80% female crowd -- assigned it an average grade of B+, according to market research firm CinemaScore. (“Happy Feet Two” received the same grade.)

Overseas, where Summit has presold the film to local distributors, "Breaking Dawn" grossed $144 million in 54 foreign markets, including Mexico, Spain and Australia." The good news is Bond 23 will be destroyed by the Twlight ending in 2012.

If Bat 3 and/or Twilight 4.5 surpass DH2's numbers, I'm fine with that. Next year, it's all about other movies. All united against Skyf*ckers.

http://specials.msn.com/a-list/entertai ... ing-cancer Sad news. The Rolling Stones will probably tour in 2012 to celebrate their 50th anniversary together. Maybe Eon would want them to do the Bond 50th song as both share the year?

USA X-Factor is now unwatchable :!: The judges are sickening to listen to. They give standing ovations to mediocre singers and tell them the world will be a better place with their music. The male host has a dry personality and is annoying to listen to. The singers will go nowhere and they are told they will be successful recording artists. The show had 9.5 million viewers yesterday and is never in the weekly top 20 :!: I cannot take that show any longer. Please cancel it. Simon Cowell will hope Steven Tyler kills himself so he can return to Idol but I doubt he wants to sit next to Lopez. :fight:
