http://redtape.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2011 ... -every-day How much money will Facebook fork over to EON to advertise their website in Bond 23? I would not be surprised if Facebook did this for advertising purposes, not that they need any.

Cr-egg will ruin it for all, so don't fret over the female.

NO...........dont send the snow over here.............i seem to remember not so long ago 'BJ' was telling us about the heatwave they had in NYC.

Meanwhile, in the UK we've had i believe the fourth hottest October on record, with one day at the beginning of the month setting an alltime record for October, around 29.9 C or 86 F

Its a crazy world, remember the days when we had seasons? well they seem to be all mixed up nowadays!

bjmdds wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?annotation ... 5DdowcQq4U It's time to discuss the Immortals film out in 2 weeks. It looks like a better film than Clash Of The Titans and it has Cavill as a Russell Crowe-like gladiator. This could surpass the $100 million mark in the USA, except for an R rating, and will establish Henry as the future Bond after Jackman has his run.

The movie is looking really good. It may have an R rating BUT it not only has Cavill as the lead but also Luke Evans, Freida Pinto and the teen-loved Kellan Lutz and Joseph Morgan. So I do think it will have VERY good box office. Not to mention now all the Superman fans will go see it to get a glimpse of Henry Cavill.

Way back when they had just finished filming Immortals I had the privilege to speak with one of the writers and he even wrote what he told me on a public forum... that Cavill with this movie was going to become the next big Hollywood leading man, that he is a true class act and he's one of those leading men everyone in the business likes like Clooney, Tom Hanks etc.. because he is not only extremely talented but a true gentleman with everyone. He said he threw a party for the whole crew and cast when they were midway through filming, and he paid for it himself. Anyway he did say back then (way before he was cast as Superman) that he was going to be the next big Hollywood leading man. Clearly he was right. I still think they should have had "The Cold Light of Day" BEFORE Immortals but they opted for the reverse strategy so CLoD will be released next spring/early summer. THAT will be the one that shows once and for all he's the man to be Bond. Action flick, he plays the regular nowadays human hero who has to save kidnapped family while on vacation. Shoots a gun, does his own stunts and all that. He wasn't as ripped as he is now when he filmed that, so that's going to be a difference, but since we know how ripped he is now, it's no problem in that sense

BJ I am SO sorry for the miserable weather! in freaking October. That's what global warming brings about... INSANITY in weather. So crazy. Stay in and I just hope your power stays on as I was reading on CNN that a lot of people have no electricity due to the storm. Should I send Superman to the rescue?

As far as the Bond 23 casting... I'm all for great actors, I really am. And I very much like both Bardem and Fiennes. They just have got nothing to do with a Bond movie, let alone TOGETHER in the same movie. Plus the Bourne add-in... this is clearly going in the direction we all feared. Sigh.

Great or not, there's nothing to support Bond 23, which is nothing more than EON Empire's EVIL virus propaganda.

16.2 inches of snow in parts of New Jersey :!: Nuts :!: 4 inches of snow by me in NYC and freezing cold tonight. I lost power for 2 seconds but a lot of others are without power from fallen trees on the lines. Global warming is not a defined science. Nobody knows why weather changes and since this never happened in the past 100 years, labels are placed on supposition. Maybe we should all go back to riding horses while the Al Gore elitists fly the jets? Will that make the global warming theorists happy?

What is the budget on this Immortals film, given it has an R rating?

After our HUGE power outage a few months ago, I will never take electricity for granted.

I love it when we have a bit of cold weather in So. Cal..it's nice to not have nice sunny weather *all* the time! Last year my mom and dad and I went down to the Hotel Del Coronado to see the Christmas tree they always have in their lobby for the holidays. They also have a outside skating rink which overlooks the Pacific ocean. It's the strangest juxtaposition, but it's also a rather neat one! There's also a skating rink ar Horton Plaza, in downtown San Diego, which is very popular during the holidays.

BJ, nobody really knows about the budget. It's far less than normal though because a lot of it is 3D animation and this director is known for being kind of a "visionary" for 3D. I'd guess no more than $100 mln.

One estimate was 75m another was 115m. $115m will probably be the number they go with.

For an R rated film that is a big budget eliminating the PG-13 children who went to see Sammy Worthington as Perseus. Henry might take a box office hit due to $300 million will be needed globally to break even. I would bet Danny will root for Henry's film to bomb at the box office. If Immortals does $350 million worldwide, Jackman might be bypassed for Bond 24 and the 7th 007 will go to Cavill. By the way, if he keeps bulking up unnaturally with quick protein/steroidal methods for the Immortals and the Man of Steel, it won't be a healthy thing to do. Is he normally bulked like this in other films?

I think they will have very good box office numbers. The Twilight crowd is mainly over 13 and all those people will go see. He isn't bulking unnaturally... he isn't taking steroids at ALL. He's a big boy normally (he was fat as a kid even), he was a rugby player, none of them are even remotely SMALL lol. AND he's been working with a 5,000 calories a day and 2.5 to 4 hours of workout per DAY since JANUARY. That's a monstrous diet and workout plan, even I would get as big as he is with that  All those months are plenty of time to get to how he is now, no need for any steroid help. AND he started that regime after he had already LOST weight and put on muscle for Immortals, which was months before. Basically he's been on diet and strict workout regime for over a year, so of course no chemical enhancement needed, that's more than enough time to bulk up like he did. He had to gain some weight and more muscle mass for Superman because he was muscular but THIN for Immortals. He's always been a beast though. I'd provide video proof when he is naked in "The Tudors" but he's literally naked so I don't think that's a good idea, censorship awaits LOL

I don't want to make predictions because predictions are bad luck. So I won't publicly say a number. But I think Immortals will have a big box office gross.

Mazer, if it's in between $75 and $115 I'd say I'm right it's no more than $100 mln. I remember reading they wanted to keep it at that tops... I know who to ask though, if I get a reply I'll let you guys know.

Ale, you seem to know a LOT about Henry's personal regimens. If Immortals does very well, he might lose his appetite for Bond and if Superman does well, he might want more serious roles. It will be YOUR responsibility to keep Henry yearning for the Bond role. I do not want any talk of that bow and arrow Robin Hood archer guy or Michael Fass-bendover to be the next Bond for IF the green vegetable chooses that dead flesh after Cr-egg's rotten run, I will be DONE with this franchise :!: I will not endure another decade of Bond rubbish after the pile Cr-egg shoveled. It's Jackman/Cavill or end the franchise :!: FBF, today on ABC they did a segment on comic book movies and they said "look for Star Trek 2" NEXT year :!: We need it completed and released for Thanksgiving 2012 to join the Twilight bunch and the Hobbit and bury the Cr-egg disaster and it will time time to use the 'elder wand' on his Bond career :!:
