I like some of the shows moe than others(can't stand stuff like Jon and Kate Plus 8. I think she's a bad mother.)But there's other stuff, like Hoarders, that is compelling viewing.

I dunno. With their deadline being more or less a year away, it's looking iffy.

I don't think he said he stars rehearsing although from the interview he could mean he starts going to the gym full time working on Bond. Maybe he means there are rehearsals to cast his co-stars. I've paid attention unless I missed a major announcement he has no Bond girl and bad guy to act against.

I hope they did learn something how ever coming back with Craig give the impression they are not as serious as they were with the Die Another Day to Casino Royale transition. I don't think any one doubt Bond has a lot of problems, problems behind the camera. All of the actors gave hints about, we should of listened to Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig when they politely let everyone know there were issue with the people running the business.

I thought they always did rehearsals :shock: Does this mean last time Cirag walked out of his trailer 5 mins to shoot looking at the QOS script for the first time :roll: :lol:

Is there an alternate, understudy, to play Bond is Craig loses his voice? :007:

I still laugh out loud that in order to do a bond film now you have to heavily work out (ie gym), up till now all the other actors did was eat healthily and do regular exercise, it just doesn't make any sense in the context of a bond film, not unless your jaws who's meant to look big and menacing, but yeah guess everyone and their gran now needs to look like a body builder to even be a tough person nowdays despite the fact bruce lee owned the crap out of most of these guys and he was average build like old bond and Bruce lee always said your mind is your greatest weapon (power of the mind) not your body...but what do I know, Jet Lee, who's that, Ong Bak who, nah average people can't beat someone ten times their size (Muham Ali ...never heard of him :P j/k).

Sorry for going on another rant, it's good to take care of yourself but even when I was a kid until I watched martial arts films and did karate for a while I always believed if you're not big like arnie you're weak and that's not the case at all and loved films where the underdog won, speed is more important than brute force especially if you're too slow to hit that person that's why bulking yourself up and not doing other exercises like swimming, running, cycling etc make you really slow.

No offense to anyone here I'm medium build but I've come to realise that being bigger doesn't always make you stronger and I guess I always looked at bond as an underdog and that's what made him great, he looked like a normal person, he blended in when needed, he acted normal, but obviously he wasn't a normal person who lived life on the edge, killed when only necessary and always had to look over his shoulder and rely on his wits and his gadgets.

It appears like Taylor Lautner is the latest Twilight star to struggle outside of the franchise: Abduction opened to a weak estimated $11.2 million from 3,118 locations. That's less than half of Eagle Eye's $29.2 million opening from three years ago, and also off from fellow Twilight star Robert Pattinson's Water for Elephants ($16.8 million). The audience breakdown was 68 percent female and 56 percent under the age of 25, and the movie received a "B-" CinemaScore (though that improves to an "A-" rating among females under 18).

Superman keeps adding cast, Ayelet Zurer as Superman's kryptonian mom. Not a big name but I do remember her from Angels & Demons.

Synopsis: In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Cavill) is a young twentysomething journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond anyone’s imagination. Transported to Earth years ago from Krypton, an advanced alien planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question – Why am I here? Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Costner), Clark soon discovers that having super abilities means making very difficult decisions. But when the world needs stability the most, it comes under attack. Will his abilities be used to maintain peace or ultimately used to divide and conquer? Clark must become the hero known as ‘Superman,’ not only to shine as the world’s last beacon of hope but to protect the ones he loves.

General Sam Lane, the father of Lois Lane, is a central figure in director Zack Snyder’s Superman reboot. This really is as Zack described in several interviews about the film, a ‘real world’ Superman. I’m told that when Superman arrives on the scene; people don’t know what to think. He’s an alien from another planet. What are his real intentions? He’s not human and that scares a lot of people. Here’s a guy who can fly, see through walls, is bullet proof and can lift a tank. The military views him as a potential threat to national security. They find kryptonite, pieces of his home planet, and discover its radioactive elements can be harnessed as a near unlimited source of power, both literally and figuratively. It’s a brand new form of energy that is secretly developed by the government. The military, under the direction of General Sam Lane, uses kryptonite to power an experimental cyborg super solider named Metallo. He’s ultimately exploited as a weapon against Superman. {This sounds just like the Hulk and again, the USA government attacks Superman! Just great. :down: Screw these lunatic directors. First Bond makes statements against the USA and the UK and now Lois Lane's father :shock: is a military general who does not trust Superman, deems him an alien, and tries to destroy him! Give me a break. Superman IS all about TRUTH..........JUSTICE........AND THE AMERICAN WAY! }

Why don't we give Henry's Supie a chance? After all, the casting is nothing compare to what happen to Bond. Lois's father considering Superman a threat sounds more like Gotham's negativity against the Bat if you ask me.

With an estimated budget of $175 million, principal photography began on August 1, 2011 at an industrial park near DuPage Airport under the codename "Autumn Frost". Filming is expected to last for two to three months. Production will take place in Plano on August 22 to August 29. Filming will later take place in the Chicago Loop from September 7 to September 17. Vancouver Film Studios and Chicago are other shooting locations. $175 million is being projected on this film. It has to do at least $500 million to break even. With the identical Hulk based plot line from Ed Norton's girlfriend's father being a lunatic general being in place here too, with Zod the additional Abomination threat, I don't see it succeeding. This is not what Superman is all about.

Batman was deemed a vigilante type hero from it's inception dating back to Bruce Wayne's parents being killed when he was a child and the revenge he sought for it against criminals. Superman has ALWAYS been a heroic USA superhero who is admired by all. To "Hulk" it up with the same Norton premise is ludicrous.

I hope you're wrong on this. Superman can't fail this time, and he has to survive the curse. The Man of Steel has to be in the same league as Batman Begins.

I think the plot will work. It has to be done right but it is a good start and true to the cartoon and comic books. Maybe the TV show as well. Lois Lane's father, I don't know how big he was in the series, he was a General and the government launches a secret research program on alien tech, I think this is where super boy came from a cloning experiment back during the death of superman story.

This plot could work giving superman a good villain who can hurt him as well as why Lois would be so up on following this super power alien so closely.
