I can only speak from my own time there and I only got hostility from a couple of members. I actually got several nice messages from Pro-Craigers after writing a synopsis of CR which was far more critical than anything else that had been posted on that particular thread at the time.

One member in particular wrote me a really nice pm stating that he disagreed with me but enjoyed my post and thought it was the most honest and constructive post he had read. (obviously easily pleased).

Just as long as young Skywalker is appreciated and is happy here, that is all that counts. I look forward to your insights when the Bond 22 debate starts up.

Personally speaking If I had the choice I would not have chosen Craig as Bond for reasons mentioned several times over, but I do hope he is more of a traditional Bond in 22, the one we are more used too. If he delivers, I will be more than happy to admit he was a success and that I enjoyed the film. If he is not then I'm sure the debate could intensify.

What happened to Gravity's Silhouette? I remember him being a chief rabble rouser during the 'Craig Wars' on the forums.

I used to PM GS quite a lot. He's a nice guy.

He ended up leaving MI6 and joined CBn. I think he still ocassionally posts on there, but since CR and Craig proved his original predictions wrong, I guess he doesn't bother as much now.

Thanks bj. I never thought you were a bad guy on there, I just think some of your posts wound some of the pro mob up the wrong way. I still wouldn't take it personal though...

Anything that was anti-Craig with legs wound up the MI6 mob. Glad you share your time here as well. You have informative posts which I truly enjoy reading.

Extremely informative, yet controversial, he was converted to Craig as Bond and left MI6. I also PM him while I was there.

No wonder he doesn't post on Mi6 anymore...or perhaps he's given himself a new identity.
On a side note, anyone got an opinion on the rumour of Marc Forster directing Bond 22?

No, he left MI6 after an onslaught against him, went over to CB.net, and reduced his posting there. Also, it looks like Haggis will be back on board for Bond 22,as well as director news, Nash. http://latinoreview.com/news.php?id=2030 (The Bond picture on the site would be a great avatar here as well.)

Great news that Haggis will return for script duties. And Marc Forster seems a good choice for the directors chair. I guess Martin Campbell is out of the running. Though I never heard anything to say he'd passed the chance on.

Glad Haggis is returning, too bad Campbell probably won't. I hope the films don't take a dive like after GoldenEye.

Most of the crew is still on board unlike TND so at least we'll have more consistency.

That's my only fear too, that now they have raised the game, and a new Bond is successfully established, they'll c**k it all up by resting on their laurels and start making sloppy films again.

Does anyone have any other sources for this story? This website reports it as unconfirmed, and it's one I'd never heard of before, so I don't know how trustworthy this website is.

I believe this was the sight that broke the news that Brandon Routh had been cast as Superman a few years back. so it's fairly reliable, at least in that circumstance.

Sloppy films Sweeney? You mean a Bond film with a Q,a Moneypenny,a newer M, some cool gadgets, less violent killings,etc? Would you call that a 'sloppy' Bond film?

Even with those elements a Bond film can still be utter s**t. Just because they are in the Brosnan films, esspecially TND, doesn't compliment the film as a whole.

Too true stocks. The inclusion of M,Q and Moneypenny doesn't gurantee the film will be a success. Or good. DAD anyone?
As for the Olsen twins, well so far it's only a rumour, and as it's very early days I'm thinking it'll probably stay that way too. Not the most reliable source. As for Visnjic, I can see no reason not to include him. I'm sure we'll get to know more over the next few months.
I'm more interested in the title, the story and who's going to direct at the moment.
