Craig Gagging to play Bond again.

Post by Blowfeld »

News from Daniel's mouth is that they have script and starts shooting in 2 to 3 months.
Daniel Craig has revealed that he is 'gagging' to reprise his role as James Bond.

The 43-year-old actor will play agent 007 for a third time in the forthcoming 23rd instalment of the spy series, which will be the first movie since 2008's Quantum of Solace.

'We've got a script, it's fantastic. I'm gagging to go, I've had a break now,' he told Extra. 'Although it sort of seemed like it was never going to happen, it always was going to happen - it was just a matter of sorting out people and financing. We start shooting October or November this year.

'It's been nice to have some time off from the role, it's given me a chance to have a break.'

At least this is some progress, athou Daniel deeming a script 'fantastic' is not a ringing endorsement.

We need Star Trek 12 in November of next year. If JJ wants to spend more time on it, go for it. If release in November of next year, it wouldn't be the first time Trek compete with a Bond movie. Last time, Pierce and Patrick went on against other, and Pierce scored the highest.

Nobody ever admitted the Die Another Day & Quantum script had problems either  Pierce Brosnan probably talked about how great the Die Another Day script was and Die had a Oscar Winner as Bond girl. My point is it's easy to talk about how great the new movie is before hand.

Saw cowboys and aliens trailer, Me and a few people in the audience laughed when the hot chick knocked him out, film might make tommy wiseaus the room look good, Harrison Ford should've walked away, the director of ironman is great but his films are made for Robert Downey Junior not sir pasty face mcgee pouts alot.

I'm sure he thinks he is doing a good job for someone who grew up with Bond I'll be happy when he retires from Bond.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

And I'll be happy if to see Bond 23 crash and burn as well as trumped by mulitple blockbusters, especially here in the US. I hope Bond 23 ends up like Star Trek: Nemesis.

I still think QOS pissed of enough people so that no matter how good Bond 23 is, It's not going to be a huge hit. Most people went to QOS expecting the usual formula of gun, girls and gadgets. Instead they got a sub-par Bourne outing apparently filmed by someone having a fit while holding the camera, a plot so short ,it must of been written on the back of a fag packet. and a Villian so weak he makes Mrs Doubtfire looke like Rosa Klebb.
This is just my Opinion but I hope Bond 23 takes a huge kicking at the boxoffice, If only to wake up the producers that they may in the short term get a few new Bourne fans to tag along untill the next trend begins, But their losing loads of long term Bond fans.

I hope you're not saying bigger success than CR and QOS, especially here in the US. If Bond 23 is a success, Queen B1tch Babs will do anything to keep DC.

Well so there is a script? Not that Daniel Craig deeming something a good script is any reassurance for me, but the fact there IS one is good enough. At least they've done something. Remains to be seen what that something is like, but that's a totally different matter. Given when I read the CR script I thought it was an awful Bond movie and the movie to me WAS actually awful (no unlike a lot of people I did NOT think CR was good. AT ALL. Wasn't a Bond movie, just like QoS wasn't, even though QoS was WAY worse, which is something.) and everyone was singing its praises, I am not really reassured by the fact Craig thinks this is a good script. I am, however, reassured by the fact there IS a script. At least there's time to fix it if needed (not much time, but if it's done it can be fixed as they film).

At one point, I downloaded a early version of the CR script. It was quite a bit different from the final product.

In this age and this stupid trend crap unfortunately stuff like that is praised, why because people don't have a backbone or they've had so much crap that they've forgotten what good really is and they're still not getting it so some just settle for mediocrity.

Don't be surprised if howard the duck doesn't get a hd makeover with the pointless special fx that Lucas likes to talk about so much, out of Lucas crap characters I'm not sure who's worse Howard the duck or jaja binks.

although I do have a confession, when I first saw Howard the duck I quite liked it. Having knocked back a bottle of Vodka. But in that state anything would look good.
