Daniel Craig does not look right with darker hair as this picture of him shows:

Again, I have no issues with Harris as an actress. I'm not questioning her talent. It's just pysically she does not tally with what Fleming wrote.

I still actually have issues with Craig being blonde too - that will never change. He should have died his hair black for the role, because that is how Fleming described him.
'Sweeney' didn't u mean dyed his hair? :D

I agree with you about Harris being the wrong race..but you ever think that maybe she's the best they could get given the situation? Most of the actresses they *want* to hire for Moneypenny won't return the Green Vegetable Woman's phone calls(with good reason I might add!)

Craig has lot more wrong with him than the hair color, there are volumes where he is wrong. what he does have in common is; he is male and kills people. If Fleming Bond were to met an agent like Craig plays he would be horrified.

Harris would be more interesting in another role if she is to have one, problem is EON is not on top of things and finding people that can go to work in such short notice -two to three months is hard.

Hair, hell he used a whole tub of tan-in-a-bottle. I still don't know what happed to his nose. They went through several looks trying to find one that worked for Craig, what they ended up with is one pouting expression.

It's the same if Harris was cast as Lois Lane with Cavill. It just is not the correct literary interpretation of the character. The Green Vegetable has an inflated opinion of her self delusional talent for her Bond reincarnation.

I have just read from some news reports that its been officially confirmed that 'Javier Bardem' is the central villian in BOND 23.

Hope this is correct, as i think he could be a very good villian.

Reports say it looks like Ralph Fienes could also be playing a darkly complex character in the film.

One bit of news that may not please some is that 'Amy Winehouse' is being lined up as a potential singer for the Bond 23 title song (hiccup) :)

Apparently David Arnold is the one who wants Crackhouse to do the theme. B@stard.

It all links back to Bamigboye. IMDB has it as no longer rumor but I don't know what they base their info on.
Wellington, July 10 (ANI): It’s official. Javier Bardem, who is known for his roles in ‘Eat Pray Love’ and ‘No Country For Old Men’, has been cast as the central baddie in the upcoming movie ‘James Bond 23′.

The Spanish actor will join Dame Judi Dench and Naomie Harris.

‘Harry Potter’ star Ralph Fiennes is also reportedly confirmed for a role in Bond 23, to be directed by British filmmaker Sam Mendes, reports Stuff.co.nz.

Fiennes, who played evil wizard Lord Voldemort in the hit franchise, is said to be portraying a ‘darkly complex’ character.

Meanwhile, troubled star Amy Winehouse is said to be in the running to sing the new Bond theme tune.

Bond composer David Arnold originally wanted the singer to perform the theme song for ‘Quantum of Solace’, but Winehouse had to pull out due to her personal issues.

‘James Bond 23′ is scheduled to begin production later this year and is expected to hit cinemas in October 2012. (ANI)

Maybe Ralph Fiennes will be the new darkly complex M after Craig killes Dench.

So sad that Amy Crackhouse still gets any play after everything she's done. Problem is, she has a bunch of people-her family especially-enabling her. It's going to be a trainwreck-not just the movie, the theme as well. :cuss:

If she lives to see 2012 is another BIG question. I never got why she was such a favorite, or how Jack White and Alicia Keys got the gig

Indeed. Her name was the only one being mentioned when it came to who should do the theme for PO,I mean QOS, her name was the only one being mentioned at the fanboy boards, and suggesting anyone else got you ostracized immediately.

I bought the ticket for the midnight showing for IMAX before the July 4 weekend. Now this is a definite dark escapism, unlike DC's Bond will EVER be!

Speaking of Potter, are the tickets for the midnight showing sold out in your area?

'Harry Potter' tickets sell out a week before release

July 7th, 2011
06:25 PM ET

After 10 years, the end of "Harry Potter's" cinematic tale has arrived. Fans packed into London's Trafalgar Square on Thursday for the world premiere, and the cast talked to CNN about what it was like to say goodbye to the long-running franchise.

If you're planning on seeing "Potter" stateside on July 15, check to make sure there's still a ticket available at a showing near you. Online retailer Fandango reports that the site has already sold out of more than 2,000 showings across the U.S., from "Anchorage, Alaska to Sunrise, Florida," according to a statement. So far, it's Fandango's fastest selling movie. (Surprise, surprise.)

"Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2" opens July 15. You can catch a sneak peek of never before seen footage during Larry King's "Harry Potter" special this Sunday, July 10 at 8 p.m. ET. Don't forget to send in any questions you have for the cast via iReport by Friday, July 8 at noon, and you could see the answer on CNN.com.

How's that to DC's Bond films?
