BOND 23: 007 on the Great Wall of China?

Google Translation form the French fan site.

According to a source of confidence, we can say today that Bond 23 will have a chase scene on the Great Wall of China. The scene had already been scheduled for the first version of "Licence to Kill" and imagined, then, by director John Glen. But the negotiations with China, calling such a veto over the script failed, the plot was altered and located in Central America in the film as you know it.

The movie "Tomb Raider - The Cradle of Life" included a pursuit that took up this idea. We obviously hope that the effects of Bond 23 are less visible than in the production of Jan de Bont!

Eon has a habit of recycling good ideas are not used for various reasons. The most famous of the series is the scene of "For Your Eyes Only" where a boat pulls Bond and his beautiful attached to a rope in the hope that they will go crashing against the reef. The scene was repeated in several scenarios, but refused by the directors who thought it too hard to film, until John Glen, once again, bravely tackle it.

A French James Bond site is quoting that in the forthcoming Bond film, there will be a motorcycle chase on the Great Wall of China.

I wonder how they got that news....maybe a French stunt team were contacted?

What happened to the motorcycle chase over a icy lake featuring iron man armor from Q div?

The great wall part of it make it sound fake, it is hard to get permission from china to film there .

Bart Simpson did much the same stunt. The similarities are startling! A short spiky haired blond defiles the ancient Chinese monument.

I'm sure the great wall chase will happen But,
It will be a foot chase as in ( CR, building site. QOS, roof case to Building site. )
So I expect they will have some builders doing a little work on the wall so when Craig chases after the villain they can have a Fight/chase on a Building site ( to use up an ideas left over from the first two Building site set pieces. ) they are anything but original

I guess with CGI they do not need to be there to film it. Most of QOS could be green screened in and nobody would know the difference.

Naw. DOn't bother going there it will never do justice to the place. The new Karate Kid a soso movie did a wonderufl job showing off how beautiful teh wall is. Bond doing a chase on it feels wrong to me,
