They announced the egg as Bond in late 2005 and released CR one year later. Eon thinks they can churn out any garbage and the public will buy it.........as Hannibal Lector said about Miggs in the adjoining cell to Starling: "NOT ANYMORE".........stay home, see other films but do NOT give Eon one dime for the next Cr-egg Bond reject film..........."Forget you and forget her too" Eon..........

If you want escapism, watch Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2. When Potter's done saving the world, there will still be other franchises available for us. The Bat, Supie, Indy, Trek, Narnia......you name them. When any of these finish their run, others will rise up to take its place (e.g. The Hobbit). As for now, our eyes are on Potter and no other.

Well if the "her" is Naomi Harris, I think while she is a good actress that she is easily forgettable as a Bond girl, especially given what she said (PRAISING Eva Green's portrayal of Vesper?! Woman, you already showed me you understand NOTHING about Bond).

Meantime, latest on Superman is that Russell Crowe will play Jor-El (Superman's real father, for those not in the know). I think that would be awesome casting.. I hate Russell Crowe and that's one of the many reasons why for me he'd be PERFECT as Jor-El  I mean the difference here is STRIKING. News all the time for Superman, ALL the main casting done, ALL the filming scheduled already and ready to start in July. For a movie to be released a month later. Seriously? I do not even know how anyone can THINK Bond 23 has ANY chance of being not good, but DECENT with how they're handling the whole matter. Unreal.

http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/up ... jor-el.jpg So the man who mocks circumcision will be Jor-el? I wonder if such a statement will be included in the film if it is an origin film? Is this an origin film or has Superman already landed on planet earth at the inception of the film and Jor-el is just a flashback? Faora will be Zod's henchwoman: http://cdn.screenrant.com/wp-content/up ... -Steel.jpg

You’ve been warned. The exclusive report comes from our pal Drew McWeeny at HitFix who has learned through sources on set in that Liam Neeson shot scenes for The Dark Knight Rises in London yesterday. This very well may be a very small role as McWeeny points out that today he was in New York.

So, Ra’s Al Ghul in his Batman Begins form will be in the film. As we all know, the character seemingly died at the end of Nolan’s first Bat-flick so it’s more likely that Neeson is shooting an extra flashback sequence that takes place closer in the timeline to where Bruce Wayne becomes The Dark Knight.

We previously reported that Josh Pence has signed on the project to play the younger Ra’s Al Ghul in flashbacks, so if that remains true, it’s certain that Christopher Nolan will in fact, be going full circle with The Dark Knight Rises to tie it into the events of Batman Begins and complete the trilogy’s story arc.

Excited to see Ra’s Al Ghul back in action?

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20, 2012.

Maybe not Best Picture. But hopefully, it will get the most nominations, more than any Potter installment. Potter belongs with Oscars while DC's Bonds aren't and NEVER will be!

The biggest bit of Dark Knight Rises news right now is that a teaser trailer may premiere with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 next month

Once Potter's done, our eyes will be on the Bat then Kirk & his crew (if their next space adventure is pushed back to November 2012).

I hope there's the another Potter trailer before release since the last trailer from April didn't mentioned it's rated PG-13.

The Bat will beat Cr-egg's egg at the box office in 2012, if it even gets made by 2012, rest assured.

 BJ you crack me up. I have zero sympathy for Russell Crowe in general as he behaved like a complete JACKASS to a friend of mine who was interviewing him, so really... but I do think exactly because of that, that he'd be perfect as Jor-El. Not like JOr-El is the most likeable character ever.. he truly can be a despotic twat! And that calls for Russell Crowe and his best acting. I dislike him as a person but he sure can do his job as an actor.

When it comes to his movie set, filmmaker Martin Campbell is a talented tyrant in search of silence. “It isn’t pretty when a cellphone rings,” says Daniel Craig, who played James Bond for Campbell in “Casino Royale.” “People leave puddles when Martin comes after them.”
I suppose we can add this to the list of his failings on the CR set. Left a puddle

You summed it up PERFECTLY, as usual. :martini:

FBF, I think Pierce is too good looking to be Jor-El. While he could certainly pass for Henry's dad in reality since both are gorgeous, blue eyed and dark haired with that great jaw, I think for Jor-El they went with Crowe because they need someone who can be a despotic twat. Pierce can certainly play that but he would still look pleasant while doing so. While Crowe, well, not so much
