Totall agree James.

Carl are you watching. I'd like negative points.
Compared to Luds on MI6, it is like night and day Skywalker.

Not for the first time, I disagree. Personally, I think Carl has been a top Moderator.
Captain Nash wrote: He does have a sense of humour granted, but he'll go after a pro-Craig member over an anti-Craig, which as a mod is biased and unfair. But I don't have a problem with him.
Well he has mentioned that he finds my comments amusing and yours tedious, boring and predictable, so yes I'd agree with you on that.
Captain Nash wrote: As for Mi6, if you don't continually drivel on the same stuff over and over again about the same film and discuss Bond as a whole without comparing everything to your hatred of CR, Eon, DC and Barbara Broccoli you'll get on fine.
You don't have to love DC or CR, but constant bashing of it wont help ya. Too many people enjoyed it, and they'll tell you. As for your problem with Luds and Dog Bond bj, well you should try and stick up for yourself more.
On a final note could Thrice and Skywalker be one in the same?
There are also plenty of members on MI6 that love nothing more than continuingly over praising CR and DC. It's almost vomit inducing. I don't agree with some of the idiots on there that just bitch and moan without being constructive in their criticisms, but the thought provoking comments of a select few tend to get drowned out by Pro-Craig junkies.

The tone on the other sites is combative, whereas here it is a friendly debate. If anyone dares to point out problems with CR or DC on the other sites mentioned, that person is attacked like a swarm of bees. The other sites are not tolerant of dissenting opinion. They tolerate it to a point, then attack and trivialize it until the poster in question gets so fed up that they leave. As Skywalker said, if you love DC and Eon's direction, MI6 and CB.net will welcome you with open arms.

Typically charming contribution to the forum.

I used to enjoy all the Bond forums but the casting of Daniel Craig ruined them in my opinion. Once the dust had settled and the anti-Craigers had been thrown off or simply lost interest, places like Cbn and AJB were left with 10 page threads dicussing Daniel Craig's shirt. Some of these forums are so boring and one-sided they could bring tears to your eyes.

For a good debate to evolve, you need a mix of opinions, which at the moment can only be found on here.

Welcome here. You are correct in your assessment. After enduring MI6 for 18 months, and CB.net for 2 months, I had enough of the one-sided love affair with Daniel Craig, and stopped posting there. 'Cloned commentary' is not for me and this site, which was attacked for it's content, is much more tolerant of member's views, as it should be.

You managed a whole two months on CBn BJ? You deserve a medal for that.

It was not an enjoyable experience, and I said au revoir to it.

I could say the same thing about this place though. They all have there problems. I just get on better with the members over at Mi6 myself.
There are some colorful characters here and some obviously knowledgeable Bond fans, but there are also alot of idiots that really should think before they post.

Attacked like a swarm of bees here Nash? I think it is pretty fair here considering what goes on at the other websites mentioned, don't you agree? When the filming starts for Bond 22, whatever Broccoli names it, the debate will intensify but there will be, for the most part,NO personal insulting attacks against members here, vs. what will GUARANTEED be the rule at MI6, CB.net,etc. By the way, do have a different avatar name at MI6 Nash?

Would you care to elaborate on that Nash? Exactly who are 'idiots' according to you?

You should have the guts to name names if you are going to say things like that. I profoundly disagree with several posters on here but I welcome a forum which allows debate, which is more than can be said for Cbn etc.

I think the forum is great and we who post here know that it is fair. The problem the forum has is the front page and the boycott history. A clean break is needed to show the Bond world we can dispute the selection Of DC without personal attacks and show that this site is constructive in it's criticism.

Nash is right when he says there are idiots on this site. There are idiots on every site. When I see comments like 'Craig is ugly' without backing up there POV, I understand where the Pro camp are coming from.

Luckily the idiots don't tend to post here very often so we are left with a decent bunch of Bond fans, who for different reasons where not entirely happy with DC/CR.
