Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Blimey!
The whole point of discussion forums is so people can voice there opinions on both sides of the argument.
Some people like Craig, some dont, some like the new direction taken by EON on the films, but some don't.
There's no blinkin point of having a discussion forum if everyone has the same view.......it becomes incredibly tedious and boring.
I like posting here, because you can make your point and have some friendly banter with people with opposing views!
CBn is definitely over moderated and you feel like a school pupil being bullied by the moderators who act as prefects....i remember that 'Jim' being very high handed with people.
MI6 not so bad, but i havn't been on the forums there for sometime, when i was there, there seemed to be 100's of pro DC and about 3 non DC posters.........some of the pro and con posts were at sometimes quite amusing.
I have read some posts here that EON have some involvement with the sites MI6 and CBn.........is this definitely true, or just a good educated guess based on some of the posts there?

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
The thing with MI6 is that they talk a good game, but they're way too fast to close down threads. And if you post a "duplicate" thread you get a snarky reply about it being such. Well, you'd be forgiven for doing that...the search function hardly ever works.
I haven't had much experience with Commander Pravda
but judging from what's been going on with the Trannyiel Craig thread,I'd say they're heavy handed with their moderation.

I haven't had much experience with Commander Pravda

I just looked at Cbn and I noticed Captain Flandry and BJ in that 'dress' thread. We should think about sending FormerBondFan in to finish them off.

As far as CBn, no it is not an educated guess. It is a fact. That quite a few people are well-aware of. I can only talk about CBn, I do not think MI6 is in the same situation at all. I think MI6, from what I read back in the day, and from what is being said now, is just handled really badly and willingly directed pro-Craig and overflooded with young posters. Nothing to do with EON directly. Or at least not that I'm aware of. While for CBn, I am very well aware that things go a certain way because there are people who manage it who work for EON.
And EA, I agree there are quite a few new people who seem to just look for better discussions. That's encouraging!

Together with Fat Seagal! Let's do it!I just looked at Cbn and I noticed Captain Flandry and BJ in that 'dress' thread. We should think about sending FormerBondFan in to finish them off.

Which is worse? DC's Bond gone "Mrs. Doubtfire" or Jerry Sadowitz as James Bond.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Cb.net allowed me to post a response after the good Captain did without being screened by a moderator. After we both posted our comment, someone called JIM posted the following intelligent response to us. If anyone can decipher what is means, please let me know because unless CB.net speaks in code, I have no idea what is going on there: "I feel five-and-a-half-years younger, and without having to smear myself in unguent or eat celery.
Many thanks - you have just made an old man very happy."

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

I have got to say congratulations to DanielCraigisNotBond.com. I can't keep up with how quickly this site is growing! Since earlier today when I checked in there are already two pages of fresh posts and more new members. This site is blowing up, it's better than ever, and it has become even more relevant then when this whole "Danielle Craig" disaster began. The people in charge of the site, the moderators, the officers, and the members of the forum - give yourselves a pat on the back.

Now, back to business. I've been going back through the last several pages of posts to make sure I didn't miss anything. Well, I found of few things to respond to, and if (or when) I find more, I will respond to those as well.
Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
First order of business. Ale B. Did anyone ever answer your trivia question? I don't know the answer, but I am curious.

Second item to address. I should of asked you before, but what's behind your name BJ. Are you in the dental field?Bond77 wrote:Hi bjmdds. The first Bond film I saw in the theater was Goldeneye. Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
My theory on why we're getting so many new members?People at the corporate sites are waking up and smelling the coffee

Third order of business.katied wrote:LOL are you Capsule In Space? Those posts are brilliant.
Oh my.

Well dear katiedpenny, if I were this "Capsule in Space", then it wouldn't be wise to answer this question. After all, we are dealing with CommanderPravda.net, and there may be Craigskis and EONites monitor this very forum!

However, I must congratulate the moderators of this forum, because they have done a wonderful job recruiting their officers. BJMDDS represents our message very well, and spreads this message to many forums. FormerBondFan adds much needed humor and sharp commentary regarding the Craig Era. Mazer and Ale add their knowledge of the entertainment business and write about it with interesting posts. There are many that I left out, but you are all well appreciated.

Then there is you katied. You were given the esteemed rank of "Moneypenny". Obviously, the moderators of this site recognized your intelligence, resourcefulness, and insight. I'm sure these talents will help you answer this "Capsule in Space" question.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
After a six year break, the franchise came back with Pierce Brosnan as Bond. Goldeneye was probably Brosnan’s best Bond movie. Izabella Scorupco didn’t really get the career break she was looking for, and like so many Bond Girls before her has faded into obscurity – only making a brief appearance on Alias and dragon movie Reign of Fire since her Bond days.Bond77 wrote:First order of business.
