Well, it appears now that another Bond forum is muzzling discussion on Craig as Bond in Drag.

There should be NO locked threads anywhere Charley. If people want to post opinions, let them. If you do not want to participate, don't. The root problem, as I see it, is this: Anti-Cr-egg posters go after Eon and Cr-egg, not other posters; Pro-Cr-egg posters go after anti-Cr-egg posters. That's the difference. No one here attacks thoughtful dissent and we do not get worked up over those who love Cr-egg. Who cares? But the ONLY modus operandi of the Eon Shill Gang is to attack anti-Cregg posters and lock threads or not permit posts by those who are against their inane drone as Bond.

That's exactly the point, you nailed it BJ. The fanboys (not just regular Pro-Craig posters, those are more than fine, and it's interesting and also entertaining to talk to them) and EON go after anti-Craig posters. (the Cr-egg trademark must be left to you BJ, but just so you know I truly love it and I laugh everytime I read it! ) That is not only unacceptable, but also an indicator of the level of intelligence those people have (none when it comes to the Craig matter, sorry). Having differing opinions is more than fine. I've had many discussions with people who are Craig fans and whom I deem good friends, and I highly respect them. When it gets personal, because fanboys and EON are involved, it's not fine anymore.

Now on a totally unrelated, and more on Bond and BOND GIRL topic matter...

Trivia for you guys.

Which Bond girl guest starred in an episode of Alias? Because BELIEVE IT, there WAS an actual Bond girl guest starring on Alias (as an EVIL terrorist, no less). And to give you a little helping hand.. this was a leading Bond girl, not one who just appeared for a few minutes in the Bond movie in question. And I'm pretty sure one many around here liked.

First one who guesses virtually gets one of these I just made (literally just made, when I took the photo they were still warm!)

Ale Bouvier, you probably heard it from where you are (Italy, right?), the sound of everyone in the entire continent of North America simultaneously saying "who?" when it was announced that Pierce Brosnan was being replaced with Daniel Craig. Followed by "huh?" when his picture was posted in news reports. You make a great point.

And that is right, I am in Italy (at the moment anyway, even though I'm often in the US... and hopefully soon enough I'll spend a LOT more time there).

Craig was an absolute nobody before Bond. The fact he was known in the UK really doesn't account for much seen as the rest of the world had no idea who he was. And, it's not like he was hugely famous in the UK either. Bond is what not simply gave him notoriety but much more importantly, it's what made him make tons of money and what gave him a chance to be noticed and to be offered much bigger roles. So yeah, I'd say the guy knows what to do when it comes to business, at least on this side of it. Which is why I can't think he's a fool... he's just at Babs's mercy for obvious reasons.

Well that's alright. I have a hard time keeping track of all the posts as well with all the Danielle Craig PSA comments, transcripts posted from other forums, etc. Anyway, "Pam Bouvier", what a wonderful rank to earn! Congrats

To be fair it was getting spammy, having stretching 30 pages it seemed inevitable. I think everyone made their opinions clear anyway. Nobody likes the ad.

I've only posted at CB.n on two occasions and those where when MI6 was down. I simply do not dig the format there. Not very aesthetic. I don't know much of the discussions there anyway as I never bothered much trying.

We have actually been harsher on our own giving the "pro-Craig" a wide berth excusing conduct that would get most immediately banned. It is true that we have had our problems with Katied however conduct in the last year are not the same as when she first joined up. If you do not want to interact with her you can place her on ignore, and she can do the same for you.

Let's settle this once and for all Stocks. I went on MI6 this week and you responded to my posts in your usual manner, correct? Then your banned moderator from here, Benny=Nash, put a post up calling me an "idiot". I can tell you point blank,and humbly, that guy is not in my "galaxy" when it comes to educational background. I responded to him, in kind, and he did not post a response to my retort back. You come back here and no one bothers you. You are welcomed with open arms, yet your hostile obsession with Katied continues to puzzle all here. Why don't you just stick to the topics of the day? Skywalker is quite busy now in his personal life or he would post more often as he enjoys it here. There is NO rift here. I cannot say the same thing at MI6. Your forum once again distinguished itself by locking another thread that made your hero look bad. Censorship does not equate to an open forum. So either enjoy posting here, or leave, that's your choice, as it should be, but STOP attacking other people here for their views. I know it's common to do so at your home base, but don't do it here. This is NOT the place it was when you left here. The new people here are excellent contributors with inside tracks on the ongoings behind the scenes and they have greatly added to the richness here.

This place has changed with the times.I've been here 3 years and it's changed a lot. Some people don't post here anymore,whether it's because they don't have the time, etc. I get that.We've had a lot of great new people sign up.New members, IMO, are a good thing.

And erratic is the word that comes to mind when I read the forum on MIsinformation6.co.uk. What a strange concoction of long-winded rants, strange commentary, and very sycophantic support for Danielle Craig. Strange stuff.

The admins, or one of them, closed that thread far too early, in my opinion. When did news of this ad come out? Monday? You have many members there who don't check in every day, perhaps once a week or even a greater break in time. So the weekend comes around and a thread on one of the biggest recent controversies in the Bond world is locked there. (Although, curiously, I've been seeing a couple of nonsense additions squeaking in.) If a thread starts going off track and an admin is disturbed by that, then corral the thread back to subject at hand. They do that all the time there, but not this time. I'm wondering--just wondering--if the powers that be don't want to upset Eon too much.

You're right, you don't understand. My remark about packing my bags was sarcasm, which is a reaction to Katied's post about how I won't be welcomed because I like Craig.

I'm not being erratic, I have very good reasons for not being so fond of Katied since she joined this site years ago. I find her to be the least sincere of this site. She's more of a dishonest contrarian than a humble anti-Craig. Hardly adds anything substantial to the site, most of her posts coming off as empty "I agree" or at worst just hyperbolic rants just so she can boost her post count.

You want to stick to her side simply because she's a fellow DCINBer? Fine. But don't act so baffled when members grow tired of her redundant posts.
