More like Babs' fantasy of what a Bond film should be like. It reminded me of this Onion story:

That video was disturbing on a whole bunch of levels  EW, EW and more EW!

I'm on to the singing one now, if you don't see me again it's because taking that as well was too much for my stomach!

And since this is my 500th post...

Babs, I'm coming to get you personally with my Gucci stilettos if Henry Cavill isn't the next Bond. And that's an actual Bond girl promise, not that you would be aware of what an actual Bond girl is... basically means "I will kick your ass, and do so awesomely!"

If Cavill or Jackman is not the 7th 007, we are all most likely not going to give a darn about the franchise any longer. None here can put up with another wasted decade of Queen B trashy Bond films. :x

Excellent point. As long as MGM/Sony bear that in mind, we should all be ok (as in finally having a fitting and appropriate actor as Bond again, which yes, means Cavill or Jackman).

Now Craig sings ok, absolutely nothing special but he's not out of tune at least... but... YOU DO NOT TOUCH NAT KING COLE if your name is Daniel Craig. Just hell no. And for the record, Pierce Brosnan sings much better.

Hugh is too old to be the 7th Bond. Plus, he has a lot things going on under his sleeve. The 7th Bond needs to be someone who will last up to 10 films, and Henry is that example. Not only 7th Bond should be traditional like Sean and Pierce were at their respective era, he should be Fleming's Bond (the one Tim did and the one Pierce desired greatly but had the chance) also. If this Queen B1tch wants to keep DC, I guess I will set my eyes on the remaining Narnia films as well as more movies focusing on Tolkien's Middle Earth stories.

In 2012, for the 50th anniversary of the movie franchise, they should be promoting the "7th 007"! How is that for public relations ratings?! To continue to waste GOLDEN opportunities on the Queen's loincloth is an affront to the franchise! Go get her FBF, and bring "Miss Bouvier" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0RDjow4uTso and her high heels with you!

Ha! Miss Bouvier is eager to participate to that mission! I am thankful for stilettos, you guys have no idea how useful they have been on a couple of occasions. One of those stomped on a rude man's foot does wonders, let me tell you.. and if I decide to wave them against Babs, she better WATCH OUT. :gun:

Sony's Columbia Skeds Summer 2012 Slate: 'I Hate You, Dad' 6/22; 'Here Comes The Boom” 7/27; 'Total Recall' Reboot 8/3 http://dlvr.it/Hctbh
Hmmm. They have already scheduled the Summer 2012 releases, yet there's no deal about Bond. Wonder if this is due to all the recent fighting between Babs and MGM?

As next year is the Bond 50th anniversary year, its more than likely there will be new DVD box sets of the Bond films.
This will obviously include the 2 DC Bonds, now i'am sure some people here will buy the DVD's, but what will you people do with the 2 Craig dvd's? :)

Off topic charlie spleens destroyed 2 and a half men (dipstick), that was a great show now cbs has pulled the plug because sheen couldn't shut his mouth, that's one of the only programmes I watched on tv now, dammit charlie :cuss: .

I demand that you cheer me on and watch if I beat up Babs! Especially if I do so with my stilettos! Of course this will be Alias- and Bond-girl style, so we can film it and put the footage in Bond 23. That'll probably look more Bondian than Craig anyway  At least I know I will go armed with stiletto and adequate Bond girl dress!

I LOVE Two and A Half Men. Actually they didn't cancel the show at all. They just halted production for this season because well, they can't replace him mid-season. BUT there are already rumors out that John Stamos will replace him. Stamos denied the rumors today but it could be the typical PR move of the moment "not true" because they're negotiating and they can't make it official. I don't think Sheen can be replaced on that show, but hell I WOULD watch for Stamos! I never thought about him, I actually think he'd be a good fit.

The Westminster Kennel Club could use them in the frisbee competitions where the dogs catch them in their mouths. Other than that, it's trash city for the 2 discs.

8) all pay per view profits go to DCinB to make sure Cavill is the next Bond (and also buy us some nice servers, right Goldeneye?). 'cause I'm sure we would make MILLIONS, and not for me but because anyone would pay to see that woman in a girl fight hit with stilettos to begin with  Then of course my Sydney Bristow love will prevail, and trust me Alias will work the magic

How do you even KNOW about that competition BJ?! Pure genius.

God d**nit this topic is p*****g me off. A lot of small people with big words and and even bigger egos. Debating is one thing, arguing is another. Its a fine line that has been crossed by a long way far too many times. If you want to repeatedly argue, ***** and fight the same points, with the same people, day in, day out, get MSN and take it elsewhere. At its lowest level its mere spamming, which is as good a reason as any for ANY other topc to be locked. Quite why this one has not come up for the same treatment I dont know, however, lets make some things nice and clear and final:

Insults are not allowed
Personal Attacks are not allowed
Flaming/trolling or leading others into doing so is not allowed
Saying the same thing over, and over, and over, and over, and over where not meaningful, on topic, or after warnings is at best spam (ie, up to interpretation), and at worst, against the very rules each and every member agreed to upon registration

This isnt a place for craig haters or craig lovers to group out and fight. Its not a place for any people to group out for anything. This is a part of MI6Forums like any other, and frankly I'm sick of it bypassing the rules. This topic is now CLOSED. If any of the few genuine posters in this topic wishes to start a new thread to discuss weather or not people will boycott CR, as the original topic was, then by all means do so. Just do it in the knowledge that if it, like any other topic, descends into childish bickering, personal insults and any other content that has scant regard for forum rules and policies, it will be closed, too.

{I just paid a rare visit to MI6's Bond website to copy the final above post from the thread I started there that went to 204 pages and had 3048 responses. Simple Simon decided it was too popular for the website's taste and he locked it. This action sent me over here and it worked out just fine. There were no fights going on. Simple Simon's gang just could not handle people belittling Cr-egg's choice as Bond. Eon must help them out often.}

As long as they keep it from being just another action film (LTK and DAD, I'm looking at you), I'll probably enjoy it.

If Craig pulls it off, THEN we have our new Bond. Currently I don't believe we have a new bond, just a filler until a better one is found. But only time will tell.

there's no way i could call myself a Bond fan and NOT see it... i mean, it's Casino Royale, for Pete sake! the supposed "ultimate" of the Bond novels, getting a film make-over that's supposed to be close to the novel, grittier than anything we've seen in a long while, down-to-earth, hard-core... if everything goes the way they're hyping it, this could be the greatest Bond film in the history of the franchise! what difference does it make who's wearing the tux? besides that, we don't know anything about his ability (or lack thereof) to play Bond at this point... as a matter of fact, most people's knowledge of Craig's acting ability is based solely on hearsay... for all we know, the only "problem" with Craig may be his blonde hair... and seriously, if you're gonna boycott the whole film just because Bond is a blonde in this one, then you don't know what it means to be a Bond fan at all...

And I like Daniel Craig. What is wrong with him having blue eyes and blonde hair when he gives a good and credible performance as Bond, and we don't know if he does before we see the film. And I think he will, afer all the producers screentested 200 others
