I think spider-man has the same producers and got a new director and actor. I see this a lampooning the gritty reboot concept which except for Batman is dying off quickly. Biggest movies in the last 2 years were not gritty or any where in the neighborhood of realistic, Talking Star Trek, Avatar, Transformers, Sherlock Holmes, Harry Potter, Twilight, 2012, Iron Man, Alice in Wonderland (2010)...
