For all the vitriol and animus you think we have for Craig I think you would be pleasantly surprised by the reaction sofar. Myself I don't car one way or the other, althou Bond is and always should be a hetero character the actor can live however he is happiest. If true it does not alter my opinion of Craig or the butchery of Bond that followed his hiring.
I do not care about this...but..
It is going to be in the news..so reluctantly
Roosterfish"Come nightfall, just down the street at gay bar Roosterfish, 'James Bond' star Daniel Craig was spotted with a male pal, enjoying cocktails and a cover band. Dressed in a black suit, Craig greeted numerous fans and even attempted some dance moves."
(May 18th 2010) Kenneth in the 212 has more: "Whether or not he is a closet homosexual I don't know -- although my source SWEARS he saw Craig making out with his friend on a street corner, and he WAS seen showing pictures of his cat to a fellow audience member. But this much is for sure: Daniel Craig has definitely been outed as a closet '80s-music lover, as he joined the G80's -- an all-gay-male '80s band featuring Matt McLaughlin (aka Bearlinda) on vox/guitar, Tommy Keene on lead guitar, Jim Laspesa (The Muffs/Dave Davies) at the drums and Chris Freeman of Pansy Divison on the bass -- on the chorus of the Split Enz classic 'I Got You.'"

Daniel Craig gay scandal
Cover your eyes and ears ladies - if Daniel Craig is your secret celebrity future husband then this may be too much to bear.
The Bond actor was allegedly spotted pashing a good looking guy in the parking lot of Roosterfish Bar in Venice on May 15.
"It was definitely Daniel Craig, and he was most certainly making out with a guy," an onlooker tells National Enquirer.
"Daniel kissed his friend on the lips. It was an open-mouth passionate French kiss. In fact, Daniel held the guy's head in his hands and pulled him in for the kiss!"
The witness (who, in true National Enquirer form even took a polygraph test to prove the story was genuine) says when Daniel realised he was being watched he "immediately broke away from the guy. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it."
Another onlooker inside the bar backs up the story...
"When Daniel and his friend walked in, they looked like any other upscale gay couple checking out the scene. He rubbed Daniel's leg and shoulder while they talked, and Daniel didn't seem to mind.
“At first, I thought Daniel may have come in with his gay friend to check out the live music. But when they started dancing together, I thought, 'This is more than just two friends out for drinks.'"
Daniel is engaged to film producer Satsuki Mitchell, who he met in 2005. He's yet to respond to National Enquirer's allegations.

Daniel Craig Gay?
Reports suggest the James Bond actor was caught kissing a man...
16:19, Thursday, 27 May 2010
James Bond star Daniel Craig has reportedly been spotted kissing a 'good-looking guy' in Venice.
According to the National Enquirer, the hunky actor may have been 'outted' as bisexual or even gay as he was allegedly seen with the unidentified man in Roosterfish bar earlier this month.
An onlooker claimed: "It was definitely Daniel Craig, and he was most certainly making out with a guy,"
"Daniel kissed his friend on the lips. It was an open-mouth passionate French kiss. In fact, Daniel held the guy's head in his hands and pull him in for the kiss!"
The witness alleges that as soon as 007 saw that he was being watched, he: "immediately broke away from the guy. If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it."
Another source also reportedly saw Craig and his friend stating: "When Daniel and his friend walked in, they looked like any other upscale gay couple checking out the scene. He rubbed Daniel's leg and shoulder while they talked, and Daniel didn't seem to mind."
They continued: "At first, I thought Daniel may have come in with his gay friend to check out the live music. But when they started dancing together, I though, 'This is more than just two friends out for drinks.'"
Craig's reps have not yet responded to the allegations.

l'd feel bad for Satsuki if she didn't know.Doing it this way is unnecessarily embarrassing to her.Although she always has that deer in the headlight look in every picture I've seen of her.
I remember certain people thought Pierce damaged the Bond Image with the Talor Of Panama and Madador. In a way it does makes sense. I do doubt some of the reports but being picked up by so many news outlets suggest there is something to it. The Enquirer has broke some decent legitimate news stories, john Edwards, Limbaugh
Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

To say nothing of rarely smiling in pictures of her and DC!
Social attitudes towards homosexuality have changed greatly the last few years. A bi-curious or homosexual actor as Bond isn't the same death knell it was in the 1960's. In Craig's case I do think this hurts him but not for the obvious reasons. The late/non existent response from his representative or handlers at Eon should be disconcerting for Danny's fanboys.

And give up the female silhouettes too I suppose. It does make me see CR in a different light, some very homo erotic scenes there As I said it would be funny if they passed on Jackman because he was too gay and actually hired someone that was. But like I said about Jackman if he is or not doesn't matter not really. If Craig is gay it doesn't make CR any less boring or QOS a masterpiece so who cares.

That's be like John Barrowman being turned down for the role of Will in Will and Grace because the casting director said he wasn't convincing as a gay man! To add insult to injury, the actor they did hire is straight.
