Great! You found someone that agrees with you. But you know very well, after posting on various Bond forums now on the same subject, you are clearly in the minority with your opinion - not that it doesn't make it any less valid.

But there is no point in trying to ram the same opinion down everyone's throats again. We know you think Moore should still be Bond. No one else agrees with you on here. So, time to move on.

Using Avatar FX technology they could make more Moore Bonds. Or Connery, Brosnan, Dalton, and Lazenby Bonds for that matter. Although I suspect this isn't what ScashMan is talking about.

No, he actually believes Moore could still play Bond. Crazy, I know. But hey, the world would be a boring place if everyone thought the same.

I could see Moore in a remake of Casino Royale.

The bizarre, drugged out, 1967 version, in place of David Niven.

I am really surprised that version of CR hasn't gotten a remake.Dunno who they would cast in it. Lots of B list actors and actresses, probably.

They did. CR 2006 technically is a remake although some would rather not define it as such. I could imagine MGM under new leadership using the rights for CR on their own without EON for a proper shagedelic retelling.

Isn't that basically what the Austin Powers movies were?

Yes, though Austin Powers was much more coherent and funny.

I'd say that was true of the first film, and to a lesser extent of the second one, but I thought Goldmember was as big a mess as CR67 (though I did like the opening sequence, with Tom Cruise as AP).

I did like that he kept adding roles. He'd have done a Pink Panther remake much better than the atrocious torture that Steve Martin turned out.

Mike Myers? Steve Martin was okay but just doing a goofball movie.

Roger Moore is... old now. I think Pierce could do it because at 57 he still looks a lot less craggy than Mr. Craig does at 42.

I don't think it would happen, but I think EON should keep their options open. And it's more realistic than wanting Roger Moore to come back!

I really can't imagine Pierce wanting any more to do with EON after the way they've treated him.
