I'm one of the select few who find Scashy neither funny or clever.
Reminds me almost of Andy Kaufman, what with his bizarre comments, aggressive style, getting a rise out of people no matter what.
But then I remembered. Andy Kaufman was funny.
Yes, I am certain that you, (Benny right?) would have been instrumental in getting me banned once more. And yet, the regular members actually liked having me back, plus my discussion points were, as ever, getting lots of engaging debate going.

That admin James Page really should just become a part time admin (he has no intellectual use in that place as his posts are exceedingly dull and boring to read) and he should simply delete spam and copyrighted materials and NOT censor his members who are actively discussing what the forum is about: Bond. He should also demote all the useless mods there as aside from locking threads and banning interesting members, they do NOTHING at all!

Fair enough.

Those photos not only offer conclusive PROOF that Sir Rog is still looking youthful (And more than able to pull of a Bond movie or two again) but that also Jaws and Lee are looking in excellent shape too.
They are looking in excellent shape for old age pensioners, I agree. Lee is propped up by a walking stick. The most damage he could do is to trip someone over with it. If they all got into a chase, or a fight, they would all keel over and die of heart attacks within seconds. They look like they should all belong in an old folks home, nothing more than that.

This image is sad to see. Poor guy.

Richard Kiel is clearly taking a rest in that picture! I'm guessing he was using one of those shopping trollies and was probably taking it out for a spin. He's a big man and probably does a lot of shopping to support his weight. I'm guessing 4,000 calories a day bare minimum!

And, also, it wasn't so long ago that Lee was in fine action form in LOTR, proving again that age should be no barrier when it comes to classic film-making. And, it should be said, Sir Rog IS looking good for his age in those pics, better than ever in my opinion! I refuse to believe Moore should be dismissed simply because of his age, when he couldn't be looking better.

Of course he looks great for his age. I would like to look like that by the time I'm 80.

But does he look like a fit, young, virile, tough superspy, who could beat up 20 guys and perform miraculous ski jumps? The answer clearly is no. If you say you disagree with me on this, and that he looks capable of this at the age he is, then fine. That's your opinion. But I am fairly sure 99.9% of the planet would not agree with you on it. And that is why a film with your wishes would never get made. No one wants to see an 80 year old guy getting it on with a 20 year old woman (not unless you are a pervert and into that sort of thing, in which case there are probably a few websites that cater for that kind of fetish).

Hell, the game was up at FYEO, never mind AVTAK, with Moore looking past it.

I would like to see a proper vote on the subject personally. A good sample of fans would be around 5,000. If only such a poll could be created, then we would truly get a feel for what the demand would be like for such a spectacular relaunch!

But Sir Rog doesn't look 80! That's been my point all along! I have always maintained he still looks no older than 49, which is why he should be able to go back to the role. You've got to understand something: Moore doesn't age like regular men. Even in LALD he was 45 yet looked mid-late twenties. He has aged remarkably well, and so has Lee and Kiel. There is no good reason why each of them shouldn't reprise their roles with immediate effect.

Guess, we'll have to agree to disagree. I thought Moore looked youthful in LALD and TMWTGG, by TSWLM and MR he was starting to look his age, but was still passable as Bond, but by FYEO he was looking too old to play Bond (like Brozza was starting to show in DAD). Moore should never have played Bond in OP and AVTAK. Even Moore himself was becoming concious of the fact he was too old to play Bond. I recall an interview where he said as much.

Exactly. I think it's best to remember the last few Sir Rog Bond films(even if he was aging out of the role(especially in AVTAK) as they were ...than seeing him try to play Bond as a retiree.

Moore NOW as Bond  would be as popular as Christopher Reeve NOW as Superman . Do you have an alter ego named Alvin by any chance? You are as infatuated with Moore as Bond as Alvin is with Craig as Bond.

This. I don't think "wanting Roger Moore to be Bond when he's 80 years old" is in the DSMV, but it should be!

More like pushing 90. He wants all the Bond films since Roger left to be remade at the rate of one a year. That's 8 by my count, meaning Roger would be Bond until 2018 at the earliest.

Moore was a wonderful Bond but remaking every movie since he left like, Moore License to Kill GoldenEye Casino Royale no thank you. Why stop with redoing movies made after he retired why not remake all of them starting with Dr No. Moore on Her Majesty's Secret Service? I don't think so.
