I don't understand the Brosnan hate among some people (especially Craig fans). No one else liked Goldeneye?

I do. It's the only Brosnan film that isn't overall dull. Now if only Dalton starred in it.

I'm not sure who hates him. I don't. I like Goldeneye and think TND is underrated. DAD is pure camp hilarity. He's the Bond of the 90's, and the first widely "played" Bond through the video games.

We just think his place was then and Craigs is now.

You would have thought the gunbarrel and Bond theme would be put to use. Have they lost the rights to them?

They are just trying to be different - they called the hero James Bond though.

I would make him more like the literary Bond. Make him intelligent like Roger Moore, but let him keep his edge.

I second that, Welcome!

More intelligent like Moore? Didn't think about it like that but I guess there were more scenes with Moore's Bond using his brains before his busting in.

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

My point is that Bond is supposed to be an intelligent individual instead of some hitman who mumbles when he talks. I am glad to be here. I am hoping they will return Bond to a more Flemesque relm.

Even Bourne was dumbeddown from the Books - the 3 movies have nothing to do with the 3 books

Bond was special before 2005 -then a rugby player was brought in to bring the series down to earth -and in the gutter.
Make them serious nudes!

In the next Bond film, Daniel Craig will turn out to be an evil Russian villain named Vladimir with a persian cat who has stolen Bond's identity in order to take down MI6 (I mean Craig, not the cat), and uses mind control devices to convince everyone he is the real Bond and that the tall, dark and handsome Bond never existed, he then kills off Judi Dench because he finds her really irritating, Pierce Brosnan then finally escapes from Craig's evil Russian lair by sleeping with his female guards, and after a lengthy confrontation with his imposter, shoots him, then throws him into a volcano, followed by a corny one-liner, as the movie comes to an end, Pierce orders a martini and reassumes his position as James Bond. :007:
