Great a book with a scowling thug on the cover.Being in black and white must make it authentic

His last book had an abysmal cover too. The early editions ofThe Secret World of 007 probably had the best cover to date.

In the last few years he does seem stuck on monochrome.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
Judging from the cover of that book the image of Bond has mutated becoming a specter I am completely uncomfortable with. That cover is not a cover I would pick on a dare with the devil himself. If the object is to sell a metric ton of those books then the wrong actor was chosen, Sean Connery is universally accepted as James Bond 007 and timeless to boot.

It's Curly from the Stooges.James wrote:Check out the cover of this forthcoming new Bond book. Do they have to put DC's ghastly mug on everything 007 related now? Talk about ruin the series.

Nothing says "the style" and "the excitement" like seeing Daniel Craig squinting at you in glorious black and white.

Re: The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......
That arty picture on the cover is their excuse for why the book is so expensive.

This madness must end. What the heck does Eon think they are doing? Cubby would not have auditioned CR-egg let alone select him.

Ruined? More like corrupting the series if you ask me. This is what happen to the World of Bond when Babs hired her man.James wrote: Talk about ruin the series.

And JJ and members of the Roddenbery family, gives us some MORE Star Trek.

Glad the Bond movies didn't go the Steven Seagal rout back when his popularity was at its peak.FormerBondFan wrote:Captain Nash wrote:Eon should just hire this guy.

Bond is unusual most of the movies set the tone ignoring popular influences like ponytailed heroes. Then sometimes they drop off the charts adopting whatever is somewhat popular like Jason Bourne, reboots and spiky Bart Simpson hair.katied wrote:Bond with a ponytail? No.Or should I say, oh HELL no!

If you want a ponytail Bond, save it for James Bond #8 or the next unofficial Bond.

No thank you. I would prefer Bond get a way from the short bordering on balding assistant coach hair no need for the sensitive guy with a ponytail look.FormerBondFan wrote:Omega......do you mind Bond having a ponytail?Omega wrote:Glad the Bond movies didn't go the Steven Seagal rout back when his popularity was at its peak.FormerBondFan wrote:Captain Nash wrote:Eon should just hire this guy.

How would you react if Seagal replaced Brosnan as Bond after DAD?Omega wrote:No thank you.
