Digital Cable

Postby katied » Mon Mar 01, 2010 4:28 pm

I just got digital cable(a bazillion channels!)...it's been a few weeks. Not *quite* as "wow!" as it was at the first but I'm still enjoying it very much. Best channel? BBC America, by far. They show Bond films(usually on the weekends) so that's one big plus

Check out BBC America On Demand, if you have it. They sometimes show longer versions of the shows, including the bits that were cut out to make room for commercials on the main channel.
"The whole idea of the Bond films--and I don't know if they haven't lost a bit of that now--was that they were paperback films, as it were." - Peter Hunt

Yeah, I've heard complaints that some shows seem like they have been heavily edited. No BBC America On Demand here unfortunately.
