Instead the kid comes up to him and just snaps a photo of his bum (why his bum?) without asking or saying anything and Craig felt violated. It didn't help again when the kid waited outside and Craig caught him. So again, the approach was all wrong and now the kid is trying to play the victim here telling the press that Craig is just a bad person when he doesn't even consider to think of what he did that made Craig get upset.
yeah, I agree with this. just because Craig is famous, it doesn't mean he wants to be photographed without his permission. especially when he is on his own time, not at a press event. he should have been nicer to the kid, though. the swearing is unnecessary, a please don't would have sufficed. I think the problem with this is that Craig is doing a Rusell Crowe, and that will probably invite the paparazzi to provoke him, just so that they can get more stories of Craig acting hostile.

I disagree on about the culpability of 24-year-old Craig Evans "cheek".
In a public place snapping a discreet photo of Daniel as he was leaving shouldn't have been a big deal.
I don't believe the Evans was solely trying to photograph Daniel's "rear". This was probably embellished, a lot. Poor Evans probably can't believe this bastion of journalism ;) is making him look like a "rear" photo taking pervert.

In this situation it would have been more imposing to interrupt the happy couple as they shopped. A star stricken fan boy taking a low quality cell phone photo from afar, happens every single day to countless movie stars. There is also the nervousness and shyness of a fan approaching a star to consider.

I do agree with Paco that this will probably invite the paparazzi to provoke Daniel, just so that they can get more hostile Craig stories.

Just goes to show the kind of presence he has. This line alone put a smile on my face.......

it doesn't say how big this kid is, just that Daniel Craig was bigger than him.

Great post Blowfeld. Pretty much sums up the other side to this debate.

Craig doesn't seem like a barrel of laughs but I'd take this story with a pinch of salt.

I believe Craig went on a very physical and strict training program over a period of 4 months. I also remember reading he changed his diet and trained on average 2-3 hours a day.

I'm a regular gym user myself and do lot's of weight training. To get to Craig's size takes a lot of hard work and dedication. You could criticize his posture and it is clear to 'me' he has worked certain muscle groups harder than others, but all in all, I do respect him for his physique.

I Didn't say he was using Roids –but those kinds of outburst are in keeping with some one who does. ;)

That's right Nash. A personal crusade along with the other socially balanced and reasoned Bond fans to show you the light and remove your Craig tunnel vision.

Naw, I don't call that presence, just a cheap bully*. Let's see Craig cow someone who can't be cowed; cheap bullies won't even try to do this.

(*assuming this story is true; but this isn't the first such outburst. The weight of evidence may pile up more and more that even DC's most ardent fans will have to reconsider. The Bond actor has generally been a gentleman. He has understood that lack of privacy goes hand in hand with a good sense of humor)
