This thread is devoted to songs that weren't Bond themes, but which you could easily imagine being set to some choice Maurice Binder or Daniel Kleinmann graphics. I'll start:
Champagne Supernova by Oasis.
Revelation Song by Third Day.
And, if it hadn't already given its name to a TV show, Life on Mars by David Bowie.
Can anyone else think of any good ones that I've missed?

My Old Man's a Dustman by Chas and Dave. Perfect for the DC era.

Seconded. I LOVE the Scissor Sisters-especially the early, Elton John-ish stuff.

Native Brits do the best theme songs. The popular artist like Madonna, Chris Cornell, Sheryl Crow, Jack White & Alicia Keys did not get what makes a good Bond theme.
Goldfrapp & Portishead would be my top choices for new Bond song artist.

I'm not sure if Portishead are still going.JackWade CIA wrote:Native Brits do the best theme songs. The popular artist like Madonna, Chris Cornell, Sheryl Crow, Jack White & Alicia Keys did not get what makes a good Bond theme.

I think they just put out a new album actually. Someone mentioned David Bowie earlier in the thread..I'd lOVE to see him do a Bond theme. Especially if it sounded like his old-school stuff.I'm not sure if Portishead are still going.
