Bullcrap. If he says he wants to do this cowboy thing and that the Bond shoot will have to be rescheduled, she'll just flutter her eyelashes and say "oh Daniel, you're so strong, so masterful".
Spot on. If anyone doubts this just look and how much she perverted the franchise to make him Bond and then how much she has done to keep him. Little known story is he almost walked away after CR she scrambled around like nuts to keep him.
She may be queer for Aryan eastern-block men but what if the new partners want to start making money can they force a new actor? Can they force anything?

I'm sure Babs would fight them all the way if they wanted to ditch Porn 'Stache.

If it's their money, I'm sure they would have a say in how it's spent.

In that case, I would hope that we got something a lot less bloated this time around!

They do. They were at loggerheads with MGM, pre Sony involvement in 2005.
MGM wanted another Brozza Bond Movie, Bab's want to make serious arthouse films, MGM held off their approve of any replacement for Brozza seeing a huge problem and a possibility for substantial losses in profit.
Sony kick started the production regardless of the consequences driven by their own greed not the long term betterment of a unique franchise.

Oscar I just wrote a little more in depth about this in a forum near the top of the index page. If you have a question ask me here or there.

I do hope this doesn't mean trouble for Bond 23.
What if this is Danny boys way out of Bond?
What if EON or whoever buys MGM don't like the arrangement and re-cast?
What if Bond 23 gets shelved completely?
What if something happens?

Craig does have several projects lined up..He's very aware that it might be a while before all the problems with MGM get sorted out!

I'm as sober as a judge.
(Sometimes)

Still we're getting off topic here a little.
Not sure I like the sound of the set up for this film. Though in the past I've not given a film a chance before it came out.
Much like some Bond fans did before CR was released. And look what happened there.

Speaking in general....Craig is hardly a box office winner outside of the Bond films, is he? The premise for Cowboys and Aliens is passable, given the right cast. But Daniel Craig? The words "uphill battle at the box office" come to mind.

It already has its own following. It is either going to be a MIB like cult favorite or another weird ass dreamworks experiment (Galaxy Quest).
I am not sure it will work anyway. Nathan Fillion would be my choice but then they were going for RDJ so who knows what their vision is.
The title gives it all away and the concept seems like a syndicated show.

It does sound like a TV show, doesn't it? Interesting about it already having fans. Whodathunk!
