Watching Craig's profile and head shots from behind in CR on television is disturbing and insulting to a person of my Bond following.
You do realise that Barbara and Michael held the reins during the Brosnan era don't you BJ?
The part I've highlighted there. Quite possibly one of the most arrogant and pompous posts ever to hit this thread.

So what's your actual evidence? A comment from one of the writers that Bond 23 will have "a shocking plot", which is merely the sort of thing that people always say in pre-production publicity interviews. From this, you surmise that we have "proof" that M will die, and that BroccoWilson stole the idea from the Internet. If I'm ever falsely arrested for something I didn't do, I hope I don't get you as the judge

Eh, IMO the Broccowilsons ARE that desperate. But if I'm wrong about the M thing(them killing her off) then I'll admit it. But if they do, I will repeat:that has been suggested on the fanboy boards on more than one occasion, so I'll have a hard time believing that isn't where it came from. :?
Well said Kris.
But we'll have a long wait for k8t to admit she was wrong. Or getting her to believe anything that she hasn't concocted isn't actually true.
The line between fantasy and reality is non existent in her world.

This could cause a few problems between you and k8t.
For she is insisting that M will be killed in Bond 23.
You're saying that a male M will return after Craig leaves the role.
So does this mean that Bond 24 (which Craig is contracted for) will go without the character of M?
Of course I have no proof of that, though already one little mind is working overtime in a vain attempt to reply.

IMO it makes more sense to kill M off in Craig's last Bond film.

I don't agree with the need for a male M. They probably will go with another male M after they kill Dame Judi's M off. That shows a lack of thinking outside the box on the Broccowilsons' part. I might not agree with Former Bond Fan,but no problems here.

In reality (that's where normal people live) you'd make a terrible spy k8t.
It's no use 'lurking' as I can see you in the shadows.

One other possible "shocking" twist is that they are bringing Blofeld back. I have three words for you.Oh. Hell. No. Especially if it's the beloved of Bond nerds anyways Dr. Evil Blofeld. I might not like the idea of Moneypenny and Q coming back but better them than the Dr. Evil Blofeld. There,I said it. :P

Me too. The DC era can't last long enough to recast a whole new supporting group of characters around him.

Twilight's new film did over $636 million so far on a $50 million budget. That is quite remarkable. In contrast, with a $105 million budget, the new attempt Princess and The Frog has only grossed $50 million to date. The budget is not always the key, but rather the content.

I'll be interested to see how well Sherlock Holmes does. There is a movie theater here in San Diego that has the DBOX technology, which is an interactive experience(the seat moves, you feel punches and kicks, it's hard to describe.),and which is showing Sherlock Holmes with some DBOX seats. Of course they charge extra(just like IMAX). It'd be interesting to do a future Bond film in DBOX,if it sticks around and doesn't get upstaged by something more high tech.

Holmes looks quite interesting. Let us know your opinion when you have seen it.

I'm actually not a big fan of IMAX. For me, the idea of occupying the whole field of vision is undermined by its peculiar aspect ratio, almost like a portrait orientation. The result is that the IMAX screens I've been to have been impressively large on the vertical axis, but oddly constrained on the horizontal. I'd rather see a film, particularly one shot in Scope, on a big non-IMAX screen. I believe that the 2.35:1 aspect ratio most closely replicates our field of vision.

Another downside of the IMAX movies is how loud they are-even more so than a regular movie. My dad and I saw the Rolling Stones concert movie Shine A Light in IMAX and it was very loud.

It was awesome!I'm a Stones fan from way back, and when I heard about it I knew I had to see it.

Kris is right though,I really prefer a normal movie screen. I could see a(good) future Bond film being awesome in IMAX.

IIRC they've been offered it many times, and always turned it down.
