Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

I'm doing some cooking for Thanksgiving-the easy stuff-pie, cranberry relish and green bean casserole. 8)

Sounds good Katied! Our kitchen is already cooking and smells wonderfull! It is only a few dishes we are bringing but the aroma is mouth watering.

I love this time of year, it's not about gifts or religion, its just being together and good food of course.

Do any other countries have a thanksgiving?

I made the cranberry relish and pie this afternoon(both came out great,BTW,though the cranberries needed a tad more sugar than they usually do). My mom was making the stuffing and preparing the turkey and the kitchen smelled *so* good.

I've never had the festive Jones Soda(and wouldn't care to, quite frankly). I like stuffing, just not in soda form

I think Canada does, but at a different date, commemorating an event in their own history rather than that of their neighbour to the south.

Since my wife is American, we celebrated our first Thanksgiving in the UK this year, with American style turkey stuffing and a pumpkin pie made from ingredients bought from these people.

Before we discovered Costco's pumpkin pie, my mom always made pumpkin pie with the canned pumpkin.

The way my sister-in-law makes sweet potatoes is awesome-cut into rounds and baked with pears.
