The bizarre thing is, I didn't know the answer myself, and asked out of mere curiosity. The fact that neither you or BJ dare to answer the question has made me realise there is an answer there that you are both afraid of.

It would be possible to find out the answer from Box Office Mojo, but it would require a lot of work. BOM is very US-centric, so whilst one could find out his biggest North American hit at the click of a mouse, doing the same for his biggest worldwide hit would require looking at the worldwide totals for each of his films in turn and putting them in a spreadsheet or something, so you could sort them in order. Even then, getting worldwide inflation-adjusted totals (which I think are the only totals worth mentioning if on wants all the films to compete on a level playing field) is all but impossible, due to different exchange rates etc. BOM used to have a worldwide all-time, inflation-adjusted chart, but they dropped it as they said the figures were so misleading as to be worthless.

Sweene, you equated a Bond guaranteed success opening due to Craig being the main feature.....WRONG.....Craig was the driver in the Bond franchise car...Jackman is both driver and car...Your all time favorite film Van Helsing, did $300 million worldwide and Wolverine did $363 million worldwide, both Jackman films, both non-Bond. Show me ONE instance OUTSIDE of Bond where Craig as the LEADING man did ANYTHING except crash and burn....just one.....do you know of one?.....Craig is more popular than Jackman in your mind?....on what planet?......you have now entered into the realm of Craig delusion.. I wasn't referring to anything outside of Bond. I was referring to Bond, and Bond alone. Sure, its a Bond franchise, sure it was his first film so curiousity played a factor.

BUT...I remember you saying CR would flop, despite it being a Bond film. Then, when that was proved wrong, we have to look at the opening weekends globally of QoS to see just what people thought of Craig as Bond. Again, record numbers.

So the argument goes like this.....Craig is more popular than Jackman when comparing his Bond films to Jackman's films....however, outside of Bond, Jackman's films are more popular.
