How do you know it wouldn't have done even better with Brosnan and Tarantino? There's no way of knowing. Personally, I don't think it would (Tarantino wanted to do it as an R-rated period piece set in the '50s, which i think would have confused and alienated viewers), but that's just speculation. for all I know, it might have made a billion dollars worldwide. Tarantino's never directed a big franchise movie before, so there's nothing to compare it with. The Bond brand would have ensured it got an audience bigger than just the Tarantino fanbase, but how much bigger is anybody's guess.

We'll never truly know, but again since CR did so well it's really nothing for EON to pine over. The CR they produced with Craig paid off, probably more than they imagined given how the public initially reacted to Craig's casting.

Danny DeVito couldn't have been Bond. He'd need shoe lifts. You can't have a James Bond actor with shoe lifts. That would be ridiculous.

Fleming's James Bond actually disliked short people. "It was the short men that had caused all the trouble in the world." - Goldfinger.

Pretty much a fact now.90 year old Roger Moore in CR would have good numbers.

After watching Inglourious Basterds for like the 10th time on my iPod I think Quentin Tarantino would have made a kick ass Casino Royale.

He has his weak points and his detractors. But he knows how to tell a story and I think he captured the old proud Brit feel with the English agent sent to France. He made a believable team of Basterds and the french resistance girl was total believable. His 1940s is completely believable and I think he could have captured the feel of Fleming's Bond period piece on not.

Does anyone who has seen Basterds Disagree?

If not Bond, Tarantino could cast Pierce as the lead in one of his upcoming projects.

Tarantino could play Herman Munster in a remake of that classic tv show which became a film.

Tarantino seems to have a lot of movie ideas in development now. Hopefully he will cast Pierce in one of those projects.

You are the second person here to see Inglorious bas***ds and think Bond. Stocks wants one of the actors to be the next Bond and you think the director would be good for bond.

I don't like his movies myself. I just don't see him making anything but a crappy ultra violent movie for no reason.

We need to see more of Pierce in the action movie realm. I don't want James Bond to be only the known action role he played.

Farrah snubbed at Oscar tribute but MJ gets a look? Farrah's fans furious over that. MJ not an actor. She did 14 films.
