Bondtroversy!

Surprisingly, my review of Casino Royale has been picked up by a couple of websites interested in the fact that I was claiming to be an EON employee, and that I, well, didn't think much of Daniel Craig. I referred to him looking like Ray Stubbs. And Bongo, the bouncer from the Ink & Paint Club in Who Framed Roger Rabbit.

So, to clear this up for the delightful people at alternative007 and danielcraigisnotbond.com, I only worked at EON for a fortnight, in a warehouse full of James Bond props, and it was really very cool. I got to see the suitcase from From Russia With Love. They were also chucking out a gold tie that Mr Chang wore in Die Another Day, and a pair of Adidas shelltoes that, I dunno, Toby Stephens wore at some point. Probably.

I wore the Gold Tie in The Slush Pile, and then lost it somewhere. The Shelltoes I occasionally wear when I need a comfortable shoe.

I thought Casino Royale was mainly rubbish, apart from the parkour sequence, and still haven't seen Quantum of Solace, as I've heard it's cobblers.

I'm quite happy for Daniel Craig to be James Bond. Keeps him from making The Invasion II, eh, chums? Ho ho.

Maybe Craig should play a vampire in HBO's True Blood who is after Sookie Stackhouse.

Who wrote the books? How many? How successful?

Charlaine Harris wrote the books. Yes, they're successful. There are a whole series of books(I've read them out of order, so find myself going "hunh?" occasionally :P)

The problem with having Daniel Craig is that most of the time vampires stay the same age as they were when they became vampires. DC is,well, looking his age.(unless they could make some sort of backstory for why he looked like that of course!)

Cubby brought in Brosnan in 1995. IF he was still alive and youthful as a producer, would Brosnan have done 6 or 7 films and would Cubby have replaced Brosnan with Jackman?

Personal taste  That double crap fest that he did with Robert Rodriguez didn't exactly set the box office alight, did it? He has his defenders, no matter how s*** the movies he makes are.

Gee, what does that remind you of?The Bond franchise, maybe?

Potter was fine;however, Rowling left Hogwarts unguarded for the most part with only Potter and Dumbledore doing the battling, which made no sense. You would have thought there would have been security galore after Voldemort's return and making Snape the new headmaster made no sense(in the next book) after what Potter witnessed. All in all, well done film with Hermione becoming human and in love.

And there wasn't NEAR as much battling as there was in past movies.Still, I enjoyed it.

Craig was spotted with Broccoli and her husband here in NYC at Primola. It appears she might use NYC in Bond 23 as well. The play will be 90 minutes long and contain profanity and politically incorrect language. It appears there is a demand for seats for this trash. Broccoli is trying to capitalize on Jackman's fame again.

Demand for tickets= less than discerning theater patrons and nerdy Bond fans(or maybe they're the same thing?  )

Seth Rogen will ruin The Green Hornet  as Craig has ruined Bond  . I also watched Norton's Hulk on HBO for the first time yesterday. What junk  . It's obvious guys like Norton and Rob Reiner love to make the USA military look like fanatics. I can do without either.

Jackman has theater cred, people will line up to see him. The story has its own buzz. But we'll see.
