Well, well, well. I came across this interesting piece of news. :x It seems Eon wants to not only go to Broadway, but also do this project. Will they choose Sam Worthington, Henry Cavill, James Purefoy, Hugh Jackman, or someone else to star in the role? http://www.screenhead.com/reviews/tag/mark-burnell/ No time for Bond I guess.

Yeah, Remote Control...I don't see anything about RC being a best selling novel..don't they usually make movies out of best sellers(there is the occasional exception..). It has "Vanity project/Spending Daddy(Cubby's) money" written all over it :?

They believe their own hype that they can be artistic outside of Bond.

Well, the artistic thing would explain Marc Forster!

It says "upcoming novel" in the news story, so it sounds like it hasn't even been published yet.

Hi

Its me 'EA'........just to let you know i havn't forgotten you people.........
its just that there's not much going on in the Bond world at the moment.

My enthusiasm for the series was dented at the end of last year, with what
i thought was a very below par film in the shape of QOS :-(

Never mind.........i hope things improve for Bond 23, and i will be back on this forum
in the future to discuss the news on the next film as it is revealed.

MGW and BB better do better next time, and i hope they will leave the Bourne influence
alone, and get a more appropriate director.

Well, i'am off to Italy for 3 weeks now!

Bye EA

Lucky you, getting to go to Italy 8) My parents just got back from there a few days ago and had a great time.

I think Babs and Mike learned their lesson and will get a better director - someone less, how shall we say, arty, than Forster next time around.

Do you want anything from the shop (Shaun of the Dead/Hot Fuzz reference)?

Maybe their new Broadway director? What a joke that would be.

Bj, did you see Forster's ad for Swissair that was posted on another thread? "Arty" is an understatement!

Tony Gilroy who co-wrote the 3 Bourne films was rumored in April to be in the running. Do I detect Duffy singing You Only Bourne Twice in 2011? IF they 'poach' him as the term was used, what a farce it would be. Will they ever learn?

I haven't really heard a lot of Duffy's music so can't comment. There was a brief resurrection of "Amy Winehouse for the Bond 23 theme" sentiment elsewhere but it seems to have died down(thankfully).
