Pfft. I bet if Daniel Craig had been cast in Brozza's role, you'd be hailing it as the greatest cinematic achievement since Citizen Kane.
I bet if I kicked a stone over I'd find you hiding under it aswell.

Daniel Craig is too serious. He should make some lighter movies. De Niro makes comedies mocking his image and Brosnan made Mamma Mia taking the p*** out of his lack of singing skills.

There seems to be an unpleasant undercurrent here that has been noticed by all involved. Hopefully, it will be addressed quite rapidly and this forum can return to a pleasant and open discussion about Daniel Craig's future as James Bond.

"Broccoli on Broadway"......let Adam Lambert sing that song......Barb really thinks she can pull this off? Instead of concentrating on Bond, she wants to retry Broadway?

I know, right? I think she's got plenty of money( three words: Swiss Bank Account ) that if she runs through all of daddy Cubby's money she's got that.

Why do you two have this massive problem with Barbara Broccoli?

My parents are in Lake Como-where part of CR was filmed- right now. I got an email from them and they were more interested in seeing where George Clooney lives(he has a house there-common knowledge among locals) than where part of CR was filmed. Still, lucky them to get to go to Lake Como.

Try the Lake Como replica at Bellagio in Las Vegas not far from you MP. Keep up the good work too . Star Trek is over $200 million in the USA now. I guess James T. Kirk's reboot is more popular here than that of James Bond. There is a way to do a proper reboot it appears, beyond an eight minute black and white retro intro.

Ooh I've heard about the Bellagio. Unfortunately, that's probably as close as I'll ever get to Italy :P

Biggest grossing film of the year so far, apparently.

Very few overseas markets though. Will it open later there or ST is not well known there?

Exactly BJ. If you want to compare the success of ST with CR, you have to look at worlwide figures, not just the US. Bond is one of the franchises which makes most of its money from worldwide grosses. Bond hasn't been that big in the US since YOLT.

You know, I've been saying that here for two years already. Everytime BJ brings up "Ah hah, a successful film made it to $200 million, Craig and his films are a failure" I respond "so must all the other films after YOLT since they never cracked $200 million when adjusted" but of course he continues anyway.

It's like I said, after four films pass with his last film ending his era on a high note, BJ will be claiming that Craig's success and praise were all a hoax, a complete fabrication by Sony because it has to be.

It makes more than Batman Begins here in the US. Pity it didn't do as much in the overseas.

Not a hoax, just mass delusion. Sanity will be restored as soon as Craig leaves.

After Purefoy or Jackman have a go at it, why not?
