Would you have preferred Moore to start the franchise in 1962 as well, if he wasn't tied up filming The Saint? You could have seen Moore doing the first 14 films. I do not know if Moore would have had the impact Connery did in the 1960s though. I actually feel that Sir Rog is the only actor who could have carried the series through the 70's.
There is an early comedic sketch by Moore on one of the UE DVD's in the early 60's and he looks too young. Like many others I grew up in the Moore era. The first Bond film that I can remember seeing is Moonraker, although it probably wasn't the first I watched. I actually struggled to accept anyone else in the role at first with Sir Rog the only one I could associate the Bond franchise with. As time went by I purchased all the films on VHS and learnt to appreciate all the Bond actors (Not Craig though).paco chaos wrote:I grew up with Moore as Bond. I see him as a second coming of Dalton. A more serious and human Bond. Where Connery and Lazenby were tough and to the point, Moore and Brosnan were more playboy light comedians, Craig and Dalton are men of the firm. Get the job done no matter what. They've gone back to Fleming's roots and brought there own style to the role.

The closest Bond has ever done to drowning someone in a toilet sink was in Austin Powers.
Besides that, no, I can't imagine Roger Moore drown someone like Craig did. Nor can I imagine him killing like Connery did like snapping a man's neck from behind, use a fire iron to strangle, toss electrical devices into a tub, shoot a man in cold blood, ect.
Like Moore said in his interviews, "I can't pull off that viciousness the way Sean did" and he was right, the way he played Bond in TMWTGG didn't suit him.
