This is cool:the Bodyworlds exhibit,as seen in Casino Royale- is coming to San Diego! It'll be here for a long time-March to October-so lots of chances to see it. I've seen similar exhibits before, but I hadn't seen the real deal. 8)

I think Craig prefers to be a more popular actor though and could be quite frustrated that his new found fame does not carry over to other box office successes as a lead actor.

Or perhaps that's what you like to think? Because there are numerous interviews out there with Craig regarding his stance on fame which contradict with what you claim.

It's not enough for you to want him to fail in his acting career, but do you also want him to feel hurt and frustrated over it to get some sort of satisfaction?

When he vacates the Bond role there will be IMMENSE satisfaction. His career will fade off into the sunset after that. I think very little of his acting skills. He is by no means an A-list actor.

He approached 40 and wanted to earn some money, so he took up Barbara's offer. Of course he hopes that his new found fame will bring him some great roles and he must be disappointed that they are not forthcoming. Maybe he has got something great lined up.
Bring back Bond!

I've never seen so much hate towards an actor. Craig hasn't slept with your wife by any chance, has he...?

Not hate. I recognize a lack of talent and when that lack of talent is glorified, someone must stand up and be heard.

Sorry BJ, but I'll have to pull you up on that one. To say Craig is not suitable as Bond is one thing, and he may not be a big BO draw outside of Bond, but to say he has no talent and cannot act is another. I'd say he is the most accomplished actor ever to take on the Bond role (reflected in the fact that he is the only actor to have been nominated for a BAFTA).

Have you not seen his performance in films like Road to Perdition, or the TV series Our Friends in the North? He is a superb actor. Measuring talent by BO figures is just plain dumb. By that reckoning, Arnie Schwarznegger is a better actor than Lawrence Olivier.

'Mumbles' did a real great job in what? Lara Croft Tomb Raider? The Mother? Flashbacks of a Fool? The Invasion? The Golden Compass? Defiance? Infamous? Munich? Casino Royale? The Bourne Mimicry? Layer Cake? Define accomplished in any of these films. If you believe this guy is accomplished, so be it. I find him a "B" actor at best who has been hyped by your lot's euphoria to undeserved greatness. After Bond, you won't even know who he is. Accomplished? Are you kidding? You can spend half of any film just trying to understand his lines

Layer Cake, Flashbacks, CR, QoS, Munich, Enduring Love and Our Friends in the North I thought he was great in. I haven't seen trash like Tomb Raider or The Invasion, which I've heard are pretty crap films anyway.

I think most people recognise Craig as a very good actor, even on here, despite their views on him being Bond. And like I said before now, fame is not the way to judge how great an actor is. There are millions of unemployed actors out there right now that have more talent than most of the A list celebs in Hollywood. It's all down to luck, right place, right time for certain actors to hit the big time. It's very little to do with talent.

You are ONE of the select FEW on this planet that watched Flasbacks Of A Fool. Tell us, how good was that film??? http://www.boxofficemojo.com/movies/?id ... fafool.htm In addition, Craig was given a HUGE favor with the pushing back of Harry Potter in November to next year. People front loaded QOS at the box office due to sheer boredom. Imagine the hit QOS would have taken in BOTH the USA and the UK if it went head to head with HP weekend number 3 and after, as was scheduled? Perhaps a 30% decline for QOS head to head?

Yeah, it's just not possible that a lot of people went into QOS because of the reception of CR. Just not possible. I see you still have a very hard time accepting the fact that a lot of audiences responded enthusiastically to CR.

They responded enthusiastically to change, not so much CR.

Craig is nothing special any longer and will have a short Bond life expectancy in the role hopefully. Who is Adele? She just won a Grammy. My lord how this show has deteriorated. Kanye West  raps jibberish, the Jonas Brothers  are a horrific side show of bubble gum music, and Paul McCartney had to come out and show them what a song and music is. Pitiful show. Also, Christmas Jones will be on DWTS shortly. Another fine talent.

Well that doesn't answer my earlier question, but it does tell me something.
