EON would never go with Christian Bale, as much as I think he would have made a great Bond. He's already a movie star. Besides, I'm fine with Craig in the role. If Bale were to ever be Bond despite his star status, I would say in the mid 2010s would be the best time for him to play Bond after Craig finishes his third or fourth film.

BTW, Christian Bale would probably be the only star I would accept to become Bond.

Again, UNIVERSAL agreement and detente in the Bond world. After Craig, EON should sign this guy up and PAY him. He still would not command Jackman or Owen money, or would he? Bale would be an excellent #7 007! Imagine, no more division in the Bond fan ranks, only consensus in a positive way. He is young enough to wait 2-3 years as well. He would restore order to the Bond 'force', unlike Craig's Darth Vader-like turmoil.

Christian Bale is 33 so Craig could do two more films and Bale would still be younger than Craig is now. As much as I'd like to see it though I can't see Bale jumping from Batman to Bond.

Batman II in 2008, if a third in 2011, then switch to Bond for 2012.

Really, even I can comprehend the reality. Bale will never be Bond, you have to deal with that as much as Craig having the role BJ. It would be very unexpected from EON to hire a very well known movie star so until they actually do that, don't get your hopes up.

Have you seen the new photos of Buzz-cut Craig? He looks stranger every time I see him.

Must Eon always choose from a pile of lesser named actors? Maybe Broccoli will surprise us all. You would be OK by that, correct?

That picture above just about sums up my feelings for Craig as Bond. You know the saying, "A picture is worth a thousand words".

My Craig/Bauer 'Seperated at birth' segment carries more weight after seeing that pic.
“I'd like to thank the Royal Marines for bringing me in like that and scaring the s--- out of me,” Bond Hardman Daniel Craig.

Absolutely correct! If anyone does not see the similar physical similarities, there is nothing left to say.

That's not a pic from Bond 22 but from the comedy "I, Lucifer" so what are you trying to prove? I highly doubt he'll sport a buzz for Bond 22, and judging from the ending of CR, he'll most likely look like this on the next Bond film:

Ed Norton just signed on for the new Hulk film, to be released June, 2008, along with Indy 4 and The Dark Knight. Perhaps he can get some pointers from Craig on how to run straight through a wall to catch a criminal, or perhaps, how to bulk up to have a hulk-like body. Craig crashing through that wall was "Superman"-like, from the 1950s television series. If Brosnan ever did that in DAD, he would have been attacked, yet in CR, it is perfectly OK to do it.

unlike the announcement that Craig was playing Bond, this news excites me to no end. Ed Norton is one of my favorite actors, and I think this will make the new Hulk film a great improvement over the last one.

The Ang Lee film was horrible. Exploring Banner's psyche with his lunatic father, just dreadful. This time, NO Ang Lee, and hopefully Norton will get it right. I hope it is an origin film, not a continuation of 2003's Hulk.

These wall complaints are really getting stupid. It was a thin wall, it wasn't solid brick. Jeez, anyone can do that, it wasn't Superman nor Terminator like. Hell it's not even real criticism but more like terrible complaints. What's wrong with breaking through a weak wall to catch a criminal quickly? Even Connery did that on YOLT and no one seems to give a crap that he didn't run around to find a doorway.

In YOLT Connery went through a paper thin divider, that is not a wall. Craig smashed right through a sheetrock wall while chasing a runner.

So he did.
And it happened, so what are you going to do now? Write a stern letter to Eon?
Boycott Bond 22 with all your might? Is not just possible to live with it and carry on?
