With regards `campaign', I'd hardly think they are about to join the Merry Boycotting Team here.

They've made a comment, either to get publicity due to their Z list position (Patsy being the No. 1 Z lister), or are old, bitter and twisted and need to push back into the limelight again, or were making a comment with no real agenda behind it, or were making a comment that has been taken out of context, or are just old.

Actually there are plenty of actors, Directors,producers etc.... Who are not pleased with Craig or his Football thug Bond but they'll never say anything about it becasue they have class, decorum and live by a code. Craig doesn't have a modicum of such in his body, just the way he approached Brozza at the BAFTAs was all wrong, then to use that private conversation as PR spin and later as a talking point was below the belt.

Talking bad about an actor or series is bad form as well as running the possibility that they may earn the ire of a billion dollar studio and risk being blackball. Yes it still happens, and is a real danger. Strangely the most public perpetrator in todays Hollywood is Steven Spielberg.

So those speaking are the ones with conscience and the real radicals in Hollywood taking on the power establishment.

When did Spielberg talk bad about an actor? I know Woody Allen publicly dissed Kenneth Branagh's performance in Celebrity, which didn't sit too well with Branagh's fans. I remember one of them saying on a message board that as director he would have been able to ask Branagh to change his performance, and contrasting Allen's behaviour with Branagh's own defence of Keanu Reeves' performance in his Much Ado About Nothing when critics attacked it.
