Mi6.co.uk have their own paper magazine - MI6 Declassified. Do they need to be close to Eon to publish that?

If they want access to news etc., I'd imagine they need to keep in EON's good books.

I'm amazed that there haven't been people from elsewhere trying to spin the whole messageboard mods/posters being paid off by EON thing

Come on... I'm sure there are Company people posting on all the sites... or at least logging on occasionally. What's the big deal?

Even if the admin know about it, it wouldn't affect how the members post.

There are many who criticise the new Bond and the latest flick on every site. How is that kissing up to the Company? I have no interest in EON or what they think of me... I slammed the song. I hope someone is there to read it and make sure there isn't anything that bad again.

This thread started out as a thread about another site... and somehow turned into an MI6 bashing.... a bit childish if you ask me.

Umm yeah

stepping all over posters who have a opposing opinion is wrong.And there is a LOT of it going on over there(more so than at other Bond boards

)

As I have said,the subject was broached..hardly "bashing", IMO.

God forbid MI6 should lose their precious connection to EON

But you say that as if EON is some Stepford Wives community or something. Companies like that follow trends and want to please more than they want to control the propaganda.... This isn't MGM in the 1930s.

The only time anyone has said anything odd to a new comer is if it's clearly a dupe account... which there have been... or if the person comes out on their first post with guns ablazin' about how crappy something is. When a new person posts their dislike for Craig or his movies in a mature fasion without LOLz talk and cursing, they are welcomed with open arms. Remember, there are 5 other actors who have played Bond and several other films... many people that don't agree on one, often agree on something else.

One of my best mates from MI6 and I don't agree on Lazenby. So what? We have a lot of other stuff we have in common when it comes to Bond. And most people realize that on that site.

Don't let a few posts on any site get you down.
