His head exploded :P :P :P :P

It's funny, the quibbles I had with the film were minor, but ones that mattered to me(the near rape for one)

And I LOVED the first shot, tracking along the lake and then going in

I think, with all due respect for the good folks who enjoyed the film, i have to say that this in my opinion is the lowest point for bond (despite financial success) it is not only a bad bad Bond movie in the loosest sense, it is a bad,bad piece of filmaking. Poorly acted, Dench excluded, absolutly no Bond or Fleming style. Hack like directing, Uwe Boll who gets trashed for his movies, the last two i have seen of his are better films, at least they were fun!
The reviews speak for themselves! i think the financial success proves that people will go to see any old shite! :D

Sounds like a very introspective review Milt, and similar to many others out there, including my friend from Connecticut who said it was the worst Bond film he ever saw. By the way, anyone notice Craig's Flashbacks of a Fool grossed a whopping $1664.00 in 2 USA theatres and was pulled in 1 week and only $1 million worldwide, with $900,000 being donated by the UK? It looks like Bond is it for him, unless Defiance does something at the box office.

It won't do Bond numbers, but it will probably get the same sort of box office as other Edward Zwick films like Glory.

The ads make it look good..and Liev Schreiber and Jamie Bell are both great actors.

FWIW the reviews of Flashbacks weren't exactly raves :?

Day 5 in the USA saw CR take in $4.5 million, 2 years ago, with fewer showings per day, and lower ticket prices by 10%. Yesterday, TBM took in only $4 million total on day 5, with more shows per day and higher ticket prices. The next 2 weeks will see if it has the interest of the public to topple CR. I am curious about the UK as well, which was down to $8.6 million in total box office after weekend number 3.

Yes......but No but............CR was released a week before thankgiving, same as DAD, and the weekday figures are always bigger than a normal weekdays take, as they get higher as the week goes on.
In fact QOS seems to be doing pretty well during this week in the US. it will be interesting to see how QOS does during the week prior to thanksgiving.

I only wish.........QOS had been upto scratch as per CR, and not had such a rushed post-production............it makes you wonder then how well the film could of been received.

The fact that QoS raked in more in its opening weekend in the USA than TBU, means finally Bond has won the battle with Bourne in the US.

It also shows that Craig's Bond in CR is popular with US audiences, due to the high opening weekend. If we had believed the doom-mongering on here from Bj, no one would have turned up to see QoS in the US, because Craig isn't popular there.

Thankfully this has put that theory to bed once and for all. Will QoS top CR? Probably, both globally and in the US. But that argument is now almost irrelevant anymore. The opening weekend in the US speaks volumes about how popular Craig is as Bond.

I'm suprised you lot ain't in mourning right now....

All James Bond fans should be in mourning after the QOS fiasco. Do a James Bond news search and see the terrible reviews continue to pile up. Die Another Day got a better reception than this trash.
