Well moderating means being fair.And I certainly do not see a lot of that going on over at MI6 I got a warning for using a no-no word over there and yet I saw another poster use the same word and not get in trouble.The way the moderating is done is random(and not in a good way either).

Some people just do not want to see MI6's flaws(crappy moderation, cliqueish posters, thinking they are the only game in town and then being forced to post on "rival" booards when MI6 is down, Thrice, etc.)

Well I think it's clear from pennys posts, that she doesn't like Mi6. Though I disagree with her. Especially about the moderating.
You're not going to please every member of a discussion forum. She has her views, I accept that. I just don't agree with them and she has to accept that to.

Just had a quick look at some of the newer members over at Mi6. Now there are always going to be members who post rarely, if at all. Then there are those who get into the discussions and post frequently. Either way it's all done to personal taste. It's not all about the person with the highest post count, or most to say.
But here are a select few members from the past three months who have made a fair few posts over at Mi6, and who I have had little or no problem with, but also seemingly have been welcomed well by other users.
As far as I know.

Again, there will always be trouble makers, or people who do not conform to the rules of internet sites. There will be people who think they have been treated unfairly or that what they say should be adhered to. And then there are those who just want to relax, talk about something they enjoy with like minded individuals, without to much fuss, make some great friendships, and have a good time whilst they do it.
I'd say that's how I find Mi6, but then I'd also say the same of this site to now.
Yes, this is as good a second home as I could ask. Despite our jibes at one another I believe this site to be well run, fair and many of the posters have some good comments to make, I've had many a good discussion along the way. Of course some light hearted ribbing and jokes from time to time never hurt anyone. At the end of the day, surely we're all here to have fun.
