Well, someone's using my requested avatar...

Is there anyway we can avoid members using the same avatar?
BOND sells, NOT CRAIG
The reboot is a risky area, did Eon need to do it? NO. Did this confuse alot of people? YES.
The Bond character will always be anchored in the values of the 60s

I'd prefer to use one that wasn't being used by someone else, but that is probably unavoidable. How about some pictures of the other contenders for the role, labelled "TEAM PUREFOY/BUTLER/OWEN etc", so that people on this forum can identify others who thought that James or Gerard or Clive or whoever would have made a better Bond than Craig?

The name of this site is DanielCraigisnotBond.com - if Craig fans want to show their devotion to the man, there are plenty of other Bond forums where they can do it.

There are of course two sides to every argument. Some of the members here are the flip side to all this site is about.
Can't people have an opinion of there own?

Apparently not. It seems that if you have an opinion that conflicts with the received wisdom (in this case, that Daniel Craig is the best Bond since Connery, and possibly even better), then even if you set up a site for fellow "heretics", the Craigish Inquisition will come onto that site demanding Craig avatars and generally trying to enforce groupthink upon the heathen.

Has anyone demanded a Craig avatar though?
As some members have requested specific avatars (I myself asked if a Grant avatar could be included) is it not unfair that people wishing to sport a Craig avatar be denied?

Given the name and purpose of this site, I don't think it is. Look, every other sodding Bond forum on the net at the moment reads like a Daniel Craig fansite. Can't the rest of us, those whose opinion differs from the majority, have at least one forum where we are spared the endless declarations of love for Craig (which would include having a Craig avatar)?

And another thing, why would anyone want a Craig avatar on this forum anyway? Doesn't it smack of deliberate provocation, like walking into a pub in Toxteth wearing a Man United top?

Because there are people on this forum who stick up for Craig, and other's know and accept that.

How about some miscellaneous avatars?
And I still support the site having some Daniel Craig choices.
I myself am more than happy with my Grant avatar, but there should be a Daniel Craig selection, afterall the site does have his name in it.

I like the new avatars. How about some Daniel Craig lookalike avatars, or is that beyond the pale now?

How about a pic of Julian Glover in FYEO, so that my avatar can match my screen name? Or, in keeping with the newspaper strip theme from my current avatar, a pic of Kristatos from the Risico one (which I haven't seen, so I don't know how Horek, or whoever it was, drew him).
