Are you spotting a pattern Arthur! Eon are making all these changes to appeal to a new fans, those who love this new "prune faced mutha of Her Majesty" or whatever those two characters were mumbling about.Arthur Brain wrote:Those of you who havn't heard the new Bond title song..................go to the BBC website,
there is a link there to a 40 sec segment of the song.
Reading the replies (on the BBC) to the question of whether people like the song............most disliked it, though there were a lot of people who also thought it was great.
Generally i got the impression that longtime Bond fans disliked it......where the younger generation of music buffs
loved it.
Someone who disliked this song came out with this statement "It sounds like a cat on helium being strangled!"![]()

Keyes entire presence goes hand in hand with Eon's view of their new direction with the franchise:Grunge-filled violence. I wonder internationally if Keyes has any purchasing power to reel in those fans of her's to TBM? Everything so far has deteriorated to this new low level and IF "Fitty Cent" raps the song to The Bond Ultimatum in 2010, we surely will have seen the apocalyse of the Bond franchise.

BJ, we've already seen the apocalypse of the Bond franchise. It was from 1995 to 2002.

Personally, I wouldn't mind a rap/crossover Bond in the vein of one of those Jet Li/Statham/Seagal action films where they team up with a rap star. It would only work if you had the old cinematic Bond back. (There goes the little respect I had from other people on this forum
I'd prefer another normal Bond film though.

Oh come now stocks, it wasn't all from '95 - '02, what about... no maybe you're right. Those were dark times for the Bond series, an attempt to flog a dead horse.
It doesn't help that they used a smug playboy to a british secret agent.

I suppose the song does suit the Craig era. Generic and not very Bondian.

Soundtrack cover is up, could it be based on the new poster like they used the CR poster for its soundtrack?

Either way, I like it and I'm sure you guys will too.

Seriously what horrible cover art. To miserable looking people. Sullied and dirty. But still enough resolve to sulk as they walk to Route 66 to hitch rides.
But what should we have expected from Craig, there is not one promo where he does not appear miserable.

I think the cover art looks very good........the expression on the characters faces reflects there feelings in relation to the scene in the film.
You also wouldn't be smiling.......i mean they havn't just been to a party. :shock

Funny, even Brosnan had at least one poster where he didn't look pleased but no one cried about it.
