According to the critical acclaim and financial success of CR, it looks like they do know what the hell they're doing. Not everyone will love it (DCINB), but that's the way it is. Even if they go back to Roger Moore camp it would still be the same situation, a group that dislikes that particular direction.

Apparently there are lot of Bond fans who like cliches and don't mind that it's Bourne lite.Several people here have said that they don't care that it is Bourne lite.

How sad that Bond fans have become so deluded that they don't care that the idiot Broccoli and her brother are so starved for ideas that they have resorted to ripping off the Bourne films.And the fans don't care.POS will have fans slobbering over it at the usual place.(And dissenters who say that they don't like POS will be brownbeaten by all the regular posters there )

So what? IMO it's far better that they went back to the grittier Bond of early Connery and Dalton instead of the Roger Moore/Pierce Brosnan quip/gadget marathon. It's so nice to see Bond have an edge again, no longer being no different than Austin Powers.

It's rather sad that people aren't allowed to have an opinion, and that a cache of posters can run a board to the point where the moderators have just given up. Just watch.

I can't wait to see POS/The Bourne Imitation so that I can critique it here, without fear of some holier than thou fellow poster screaming at me(although the pro-Craigs probably will ) because I don't agree with them.

The "elite" bond fans have already made their minds up about POS and they will make anyone who doesn't drink the kool-aid feel unwelcome It must be hard to have such high expectations for one film
