How about Daniel Craig as Robin with Bale's Batman in the next Batman film?

Craig would be a better Riddler, ala Frank Gorshin. Carey stunk in the role. Ledger played the criminal correctly.

Regarding TDK.........i thought it was a pretty good film, but not briliant (i.e. it didn't make me feel that i should rush
out and see it again).

Obviously the highlight of the film was 'Ledgers' performance as the Joker.............which was excellent.

Aren't "artsy fartsy" flicks supposed to be independent films made by people who have no aspirations for appealing to the masses? How is Craig supposed to be making films "for the fans" if he keeps doing all these obscure off-beat films? That's like accusing Johnny Depp for only doing independent films like WHAT'S EATING GILBERT GRAPE "for the fans".

Daniel Craig was making crap films before he became Bond.Then Babs Broccoli decided that he was good looking enough(HA!!) to be Bond. She's a terrible judge of who is good looking or not,as has been mentioned on several other threads.

Most of those had a limited release in the States and got less than stellar reviews.

Have you even seen those films? I've only seen two pre-Bond films: Layer Cake and Munich. I hear Road To Perdition was pretty good too.
