If QOS is nothing like Bourne, but closely resembles a Brosnan film, I will be the biggest hater of QOS on here. But that has nothing to do with Craig.

I won't deny the Bourne influence, but Bounre is a closer influence to James Bond than say Shaft, Star Wars, Miami Vice, ect. This is as far as we got to Fleming Bond since the early Bonds. Granted it's not 100% Fleming, but it's closer to it than anything out of the Moore and Brosnan years and for that, I appreciate that EON is no longer making Bond films for 12 year old kids. I still don't see how Bond is supposed to be acting like Bourne as BJ suggests. Bounre is a tormented man who never once cracks a smile and wants to sever ties with government/employer while Craig has a more positive attitude, loves the ladies and actually has a sense of humor (although more subtle than Moore/Brosnan fans are accustomed to). He's more Dalton than Bourne, and that for me is always a good thing.

I bought the magazine 'EMPIRE' today (UK monthly film magazine), and there's a large section on QOS.

Anyway in relation to the current topic here about Bond mimicking Bourne...............there was this paragraph in the
magazine Bond article which states........

"Bond loves being a secret agent......he's a cruel character, an imperialist. Bourne is the reverse. He's filled with doubt and anxiety.
I don't think its like Bourne at all, says Craig."
