For Your Eyes Only: retrospective
For Your Eyes On'y is a strange entry. From the "Blofeld" character and his remote controlled helicopter to the low key ending. It's strange that this followed Moonraker, then was followed by the camp classic Octopussy.

Not my favourite Bond film. One of the few I haven't watched on DVD which may have something to do with it.

haven't seen it in years. I remember Blowfeld in the electric wheel chain and the smokestack.
Don't particularly care for it but I couln't tell you what it was about or who was in it

Chief of Staff, 007's gone round the bend. Says someone's been trying to feed him a poisoned banana. Fellow's lost his nerve. Been in the hospital too long. Better call him home.

Never liked this film.
Could have been good as a debut film for a new actor if Moore had left the series after Moonraker.
It sure had potential as a serious down to earth action packed Bond movie, but there was just too much silliness, a terrible score and to me the cast wasn't that good.

I don't understand why people have always talked about this one being down to earth although after the previous one it was the literal truth if not the actual truth.
