A classic example: "Craig doesn't have chest hair, Bond's supposed to have that!"

What about Roger Moore?

Don't you just hate being right all the time?

This must be the unfunniest double act since Hale and Pace. Has the MI6 forum closed down for maintenance today?

I don't think that is a very good poster IMHO.
Something looks wrong with it. I can't put my finger on it but something feels off about it.

George Lazenby uses a sub-machine gun in OHMSS
Roger Moore battled Strombergs crews again with a sub-machine gun in TSWLM
Timothy Dalton uses an AK-47 in TLD
Pierce Brosnan uses machine guns in GE, TND, TWINE and DAD on several occassions. I think Pierce used the machine gun more than a hand gun sometimes.
So what's the problem with Daniel Craig using one?
Oh it's Daniel Craig. My mistake.
But it wasn't treated as an iconic image in those films. Bond posters traditionally featured Bond in a tuxedo with his arm crossed upon his chest, holding his Walther PPK. The fact that they're putting this image on the poster and in slow motion as the final image in the trailer (ie the impression that people leave it with) shows that the film's publicists want us to think of New Bond as a machine gun-toting Rambo type of character.

In your opinion Kris maybe.
Not one I agree with, but I'm not going to make a song and dance out of it.
To each his own I guess.

I feel Eon are trying to bring new fans to Bond, and see the traditional image of Bond as too old fashioned. So we have a Bourne/Rambo type, a working class character with a machine gun.
