Unused NSNA theme

Post by Kristatos »

Someone posted this link to an unused theme for NSNA in alt.fan.james-bond, performed by Phyllis Hyman (who I'd never heard of, I must confess). A bit dated in its arrangements, but sounds more like a "proper" Bond theme than the insipid theme they actually ended up using. And I promise it's not a Rick Roll, if that's what you're thinking.

I quite like it; it has an Olivia Newton John or For Your Eyes Only theme feel to it, which is quite natural considering when it was written.

I like NSNA for its cult value; therefore I like the original theme becuase it reminds me of the film, if that makes any sense. But this would have been better.
Bring back Bond!
