Hopefully her campaign will be over after today, but I've said that too many times before to be overly optimistic. I saw a neat cartoon of Hillary as the Energizer bunny, but instead of bashing a drum, she was bashing a dustbin full of rotting fish heads and other stinky garbage. Wish I could find it again to post it.

She is not going to quit until the dems force her out.
I heard one theory that she was keeping at it to pay off the campaign dept she's racked up. She had owed around 20 million. If that the case then dems should write her a check and send her on her way. Let her keep Teddy Kennedy company in the senate and leave the big leagues to the players on the field.

Not only that, Diane Feinstein, her supporter, wants a pow-wow with Hillary to see where she is now going with this. It is all but over. Hill was rebuffed by her OWN party, NOT the vast right wing conspiracy. The ultimate in her degradation politically. She wants to be Senate majority leader or try to run for Governor in NY in 2010. I will do battle against that IF she tries. I want to see her concession speech and see her out of the picture once and for all. Bill's face on the stage last night in Indiana was priceless. :D

Does she want McCain to win, so she can say: "I told you I was the better choice".

Oh, you can bet your bottom dollar that she'll try to sabotage Obama's campaign so that she can run again in 2012.

Kristatos knows his political onions and I concur totally with his astute prognostications on her motives;however, she has damaged herself with the Democratic party and will be 'itching' to re-announce her bid early, in 2010, for her 2012 run, ONLY if Obama loses to McCain. If Obama wins, Hillary will be free to divorce Bill, for her presidential aspirations will be over. Obama will pick either the male governor of Ohio or the female governor of Kansas as his vice president it looks like. Hillary will be lost without this goal in her life.

I get that feeling too. While I try to respect her, I keep getting that nagging feeling she's really being selfish. Maybe it's pretty blatant that she is. But she always seems to be in this "If I can't win, then no one can win" attitude. Hoping for McCain to win (which she obviously wouldn't admit) would fit with her character. She comes off too many times as an opportunist rather than an aspiring leader. The fact that she tried to pretend that she was under sniper fire and forgot that the whole thing was shot on camera worries me more than the whole Jeremiah Wright fiasco (I seriously doubt Obama wants to "d**n America" ). Her explanation "I misspoke" gave me a laugh. At least Obama had the balls to say "okay, I was wrong", but of course that isn't fair considering she doesn't have them. :P

Once again she's trying to pull the "I'm the underdog, sympathize me" card while at the same time still doesn't get why she's being asked to get out? Hello? You're not the president we want Hillary!

Today's festivities officially ended her campaign. I have been studying these Clintons since Billy boy ran in 1992. They are 2 of the lowest scum on this planet. They sold out nuclear secrets to the Chinese, via Al ,'the bore', Gore getting the cash in Buddhist temples, and live by one motto as lawyers:Use the loopholes where ever they exist and if they do not exist, make them up. This time, it was NOT a vast rightwing conspiracy that did her in, it was her OWN party that shunned her. They only care about their own glory, and the hell with all of us. McCauliffe is a carnival shill, as is Lanny Davis. They have a liberal, despicable, cult following and we as Americans deserve better. Enough Hillary. You and Bush will be out of our lives soon enough.

Obama is a liberal guy but not a bad person. IF he said the things Wright did, that would be different. McCain also has problems with a loon pastor. Hillary is despicable, earned $109 million with Bill since he left office, and tried to pan off a $20.00 savings on a gas tax reduction, that McCain first suggested, as her 'common man in touch side'. I am worried what kind of people actually fall for her duplicity. What the hell are these people thinking?

The thing I like about Obama is that he's run a clean campaign (or at least as clean as it's possible to get in modern politics) and won. It has upturned the conventional wisdom that "negative campaigning works", which is something we can all be thankful for.

Agree 100%. Clinton is becoming a laughing stock now. Even my NY new Governor Patterson, who supported her, is fed up with her antics. Imagine:Clinton wants Florida and Michigan to NOW be counted even though she SIGNED an agreement, with Obama, last summer that they should not be counted. I cannot wait for her concession speech. The problem is she is in denial that she lost and does not know what to do out of the limelight. Prozac here she comes. Imagine Bill trying to live with her after this defeat? Her face looks more and more like a female Joker from Batman by the way.

It is over for her. Unless something happen to Obama. I think the DNC is just starting to imagine like without the Clinton's and they LIKE it

I think she is staying in it because she doesn't believe she'll get a second chance in 4 to 8 years
