Wow, I didn't notice that before. There seems to be a huge gap between the top 2 films on that list and all the others.

It's not really a shocker considering The Dark Knight's anticipation is THAT big. Batman Begins at the box office paled in comparison to Spider-Man's numbers. But throughout the years on DVD and cable it got more exposure and people began to see a brilliant flick they missed out in 2005. Plus there is the aspect of people wanting to see Heath Ledger's final finished performance as The Joker. So in short, TDK's success is already written in stone.
As for James Bond, naturally it wouldn't go beyond #4 considering TDK and Indy are summer releases and Bond hasn't reached Harry Potter's current success since Bondmaina in the 60s. Still, it's nice to see the series keep going for 40 years, you can't beat that.
