Who's played such roles as Hercule Poirot, Abraham Van Helsing and the British deputy Prime Minister.

By the way, I thought having Dame Judi back for CR was a mistake. It was a great opportunity to introduce a new M.

Make it so Mr Bond! Engage!
If Robinson took over from M he'd be M too wouldn't he, like when Admiral Hargreaves became M. Also, Cleese wasn't actually R, that was a joke by Bond. He was Q in DAD after all.Kristatos wrote:If Robinson got promoted, wouldn't that make him R? And might that not cause confusion with John Cleese's R?Blowfeld wrote:A former Bond as M. How about Colin Salmon as M?

It was actually "I didn't know it stood for..." before M cuts him off. Clever people like me who talk loudly in restaurants see this as deliberate ambiguity about whether the M of Casino Royale is Barbara Mawdesley or whether Dench is playing a different M.Dr. No wrote:Yeah but they made that joke in CR didn't they.
I thought M was just a title I didn't know your name began with M.
