Is that even the same actor? From the eyes upwards he looks eerily similar to Roger Moore.

Dunno, I googled his name and that picture came up in the image search. I should probably have checked, but I just tried it again and couldn't find that image.

I thought it was him, but I don't think he's been the favourite for some time.

If they are screen testing actors, I think we'll get an announcement fairly soon. Hopefully some time this autumn.

JK Rowling has hit back after film director Chris Columbus declared that any reunion involving the original Harry Potter cast would be "impossible" due to fundamental disagreements over the author's transgender views. The filmmaker, who directed the initial two instalments of the wizarding franchise, told The Times that political complications have made his previous ambitions to adapt Harry Potter and the Cursed Child for cinema unfeasible.

"It's gotten so complicated with all the political stuff," Mr Columbus stated, highlighting how Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson have publicly opposed Ms Rowling's position on trans rights.

"Everyone in the cast has their own opinion, which is different from her opinion, which makes it impossible," the director explained.

All three actors are supportive of trans rights. Radcliffe said: “Transgender women are women. Any statement to the contrary erases the identity and dignity of transgender people.” Watson, in a message on social media, said: “Trans people are who they say they are and deserve to live their lives without being constantly questioned.”

Ralph Fiennes, who played Voldemort, subsequently offered support to Rowling in an interview in the Telegraph, saying that “the verbal abuse directed at her is disgusting”, while Helena Bonham Carter, who played Bellatrix Lestrange, told the Times: “It’s been taken to the extreme, the judgmentalism of people. She’s allowed her opinion, particularly if she’s suffered abuse.”--------amazing that FACTS mean nothing to generation Z. Radcliffe and Watson are proof positive of indoctrination in today's societies. I would love to see moron Emma Watson undress in a locker room with ALL transgender women or play a sport against ALL transgender women and see what she thinks THEN! Radcliffe is afraid to insult his Broadway buddies here in NYC and judging by the way he threw the elder wand off the bridge in the final scene of The Deathly Hallows he most likely cannot play many sports either so he has no perspective on the implications of competition in sports.

If they write a big enough check they all will show up. Just like brosnan shilling for the 50th anniversary.

Look these young actors may really believe this stuff or they may be worried for their careers and just following what was the popular trend.

I think the measured stance is to be understanding: to J. K. Rowling,
to young women losing scholarships and their place in academia ,
to the transgendered individuals
to these young actors that may be playing the part they think they’re supposed to play in society.

I’d ignore the construct of the social narrative, pushing transgendered “ideology”, trying to not for acceptance, but for preferential treatment. In a way demonizes anyone who doesn’t agree.

I’d ignore the other social narrative that in a way demonizes transgenders.

I’d live let live

Harry Potter movies are in the end for Harry Potter fans. That’s what both Rowling and these actors should realize. I think they were comfortable before because Rowling was seen as a progressive and she came up on the wrong side of a narrative, they didn’t know how to react.

THEO is getting a LOT of attention as a possible Bond on the internet. He has a Purefoy look and is a MUCH better choice than MOMMY-BOY ATJ! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NFS849i5ezQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3e4ZT7NcAPY
