The producers were Amy Lo of Mental Pictures, Michelle Cameron, and Riseborough, who produced Nancy as the first film under her banner Mothersucker. Eon Productions' Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson, Gamechanger Films' Mynette Louie, and XS Media's Rachel Xiaowen Song served as executive producers.

It’s what is known as a “passion project”. They’ll make the movie no matter how cr@p it is ...and EON helped.

We seem to be getting some bots posting new topics - Bond-related, but they feel like someone prompted an AI chatbot to write a post for this forum, as opposed to previously, when it was just advertising. They're getting sneakier.

The BJMDDS General Discussion Thread......

Ai will basically scan everything we’ve said and regurgitate it back at us slightly different. It’d be very hard to catch because we’d like hearing what we basically already agreed with. These things aren’t intelligent yet, just clever algorithms.

Weird just thinking about the generations of attacks we’ve been through together. Back in the beginning we actually had people on Sonys payroll posting from Sony ip addresses attacking us. All to protect the corporate interest which at that time were aligned with EON.

I can’t help wonder why bother attacking us now? Craig has been retired for years.
It’s probably because we are online forum that has actual search history going back decades. Not because of content.

I love the idea some AI is learning to think like DB, those programmers are in for a hell of a wake up call when the AI becomes self-aware and goes off on a rant. :)

But l’d also love it if the truth were Babs is so obsessed with us, in retirement she took a few million dollars of disposable income and hired some group to cripple the site.

I know we lived rent free in her mind for years.

At one point I thought maybe this place was paid for by EON to give them a foil to pr against. It’s basically their narrative promoting CR. @Mean people who don’t like ugly star and entitled debutant destroying cubby’s legacy & Fleming’s literary creation. Craig is g8est eva.

Now I wonder why if somebody doesn’t like us and has enough resources to attack us they don’t just buy the place. But its probably just random attacks brought to us by USaid money well spent. Or actually foreign countries that run programs like this. Cyberattacks always go up when war(s) is on the horizon.

Maybe Bezos got word about us and he is trying to wreak havoc with any opposing views which affect his buyout dough to Broccoli? Bezos should embrace us as the arbiters of who should be Bond..........In a new interview with Harper’s Bazaar UK, the 46-year-old actress recalled her uncomfortable tryout for the 2002 film “Die Another Day.”

“In the Bond audition, I was asked to unzip and drop the dress I was wearing, to just stand there in underwear,” Pike said. “And I thought, ‘Well, no, I’ll be doing that if I get the part. I won’t be doing that now.’”

Well in the 90’s early 2000s that how eon rolled. There were others with similar stores

And pike got the job right out of school. So it was kind of a whirlwind gig for her.

The conspiratorial part of me leans this way, after all we are the "anti fan" site. Bezos has nothing to fear from the likes of MI6 or David "Underpants Gnome" Zaritsky. No matter how they may balk now, they'll fall in line just as they did in 2006, especially if they still want that juicy production access and media clout. We on the other hand have shown we'll call it as we see it. Amazon already got a mouthful of "toxic fandom" with their poorly received Lord Of The Rings show. I doubt they'll tolerate any more on their crown jewel intellectual property.

Except for a few known stars unknown actresses were asked to be more revealing. But how many talked about it I don’t know. I just remember hear stories. I’m sure it continued into the Craig era. But I don’t think big names or well knowns were subjected to it.

I’m remembering that girl in the opener for twine, brushing up on danish or whatever. I think in an actors studio interview with brosnan she had something similar to say, not that she was upset, she was thrilled to be in the movie . But it’s not uncommon casting practice in Hollywood .

Thing about Hollywood is since it was created they walk the thin line of being pornographic or not. Very few actors were successful based on talent alone. Directors and producers push the line to make the stars as alluring as possible.
Bond made its brand doing that.

Casting allows what we’d consider inappropriate in any other industry.
Harvey Weinstein will probably escape punishment because he wasn’t really acting out of line for the industry .

Bond has sins but the industry is right there with EON. I think what shocks people is this was a female producer who denounced these practices doing them herself.

Maybe way back when actors were popular based on their merit(look at someone like Gene Hackman-god rest his soul-he was hardly a matinee idol but he is one of the greats.)

I mention Gene Hackman because TCM was showing a bunch of his films then other day and was the most relevant reference for me.

Yeah, Mitchell. I haven't seen that one, but it's considered one of the classics.

Yeah, Mitchell. I haven't seen that one, but it's considered one of the classics.
Also, Final Justice another "classic!" I always liked Joe Don, not so much as an actor he was a ham and cheese sandwich come to life, but he had a certain charm about him.
