It is 2025 now! Since 2015 only ONE Bond film has been made. This is ridiculous that NOTHING is in the works for the next film and all of the new Bond actor speculations on the internet that we point out here are looking so meaningless because Broccoli wants out since Cr-egg's departure, and it looks like the case more and more, especially with her sidekick MGW retired and is leaving it all to her to figure out, which she obviously dislikes doing. At this juncture, the franchise is mothballed. She turns 65 in June as well so time is passing her by as well to do all of this.

I am contemplating leaving NYC but don't think the southern heat in the summer would suit me but I will see. Where would you LIKE to move to, if you had your choice of places?

That was my second biggest beef with the US, after the for-profit healthcare system. Outside the biggest cities, everything was designed around the car. Where I lived (Columbia, SC), many of the roads didn't even have sidewalks.

An interesting article, the more of these I read the more I'm convinced Bond is truly dead. Of course they'll make another film or 50, but just was the case with Craig, they won't be "Bond" films. Draw the curtains the show is over.

No news, nothing happening....but.........According to a lengthy report in The Times, and reported by other outlets like MovieWeb, insiders suggest that the franchise will "return to a Bond of quips and camp, a shift away from the Shakespearean heft of Cr-egg. More traditional yet easier to sell via memes to Amazon’s younger demographic."

Good news if true, I just hope they get the casting right. I've heard rumours of yet another person being "officially cast", but I haven't seen any reports, and the person who posted about it on another forum didn't want to go into detail, for fear of spreading fake news. Probably Aaron Taylor-Johnson again, it usually is.

Sounds good on paper, but EON is ever ready to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

Shakespearian heft?! More like "soap operian" waft!

Image Atomic scientists on Tuesday moved their "Doomsday Clock" closer to midnight than ever before, citing Russian nuclear threats amid its invasion of Ukraine, tensions in other world hot spots, military applications of artificial intelligence and climate change as factors underlying the risks of global catastrophe. The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists set the clock to 89 seconds before midnight - the theoretical point of annihilation. That is one second closer than it was set last year. The Chicago-based nonprofit created the clock in 1947 during the Cold War tensions that followed World War Two to warn the public about how close humankind was to destroying the world.............. Tell Broccoli to hurry up then!

The above referenced actor in my post would make too much sense. Looks like Bond but not 5'9 , blond and in touch with feminine side 😜

Right Jason, too correct a choice to be true, not to mention Babz public feud with Amazon, nothing's getting done anytime soon. By the time they're ready to cast the next film this bloke will be on a pension!

He's 39 now, which may be a little too old. I expect the next Bond, if and when he's eventually cast, to be closer to 30 than 40.

Only two big cities in NM with transit systems, Albuquerque and I think Santa Fe , the rest is open territory with the small towns very beautiful, but you kinda gotta wanna be self-sufficient. There are places out here that you call for help no one comes for an hour.

Funny thing about the doomsday clock we are more likely to have something we can not control wipe us out in a moment. Polar shift. New ice age. Sun flares, asteroids , volcanic activity. But still Babs should hurry the hell up . Or sell.
